I hope to trick my metabolism into thinking I'm no longer on a diet..been stuck way to long.

My trick is to not give up and keep on working hard and be ready when it does decide to break free.

Being determined is the key for me ! I help raise my 2 grandsons. After work, I cook and help with homework. I plan to exercise every day. After work, before supper, I will take my grandsons on a walk. They love to do this! I will try cooking a quick meal in the crock pot etc. so that I can go back to my tues. and thurs. night exercise class. Also, I will keep track of calories on the nutrition section.

Well Tabitha, you should start out planting some kale seeds in your landscaping, or even a pot. It's easy and great looking...and nutritious. It will even last through the snow of winter.

It's just emoticon fun for the entire family. emoticon

Sounds like a great plan Heavenly! I like the idea of working out hard for 6 days and taking 1 day off. Like Mikeeo said, rest can do a body good.

Mikeeo, gardening can be a workout that's for sure. I haven't planted anything lately, but I remember helping my grandmother years ago and just being worn out afterwards.

You're right. Rest can do a body good, when you work it's a$$ off during the week. Good job. emoticon

I need to kick it up a notch on my exercise routine. My intake has been spot on, getting tons of veggies from my garden, but alas, the garden is winding down. The heat this year took it's toll, but had the best corn crop ever. I'll be prepping the dirt for winter crops Garlic, kale, and turnups during this challenge, so I'll be burning some quality cals.

Should be an emoticon challenge.

So far my plan has been to work out hard 6 days a week... and then I do absolutely nothing on Saturday. I also tend to be a little less strict with my diet on the weekend. You'd think that I'd gain over the weekend, but in reality I end up losing most of my weight over the weekend. All of my work comes during the week, but my body seems to drop when I take the break. :-) I only log my weight once a week but I weigh pretty much daily just to see how I flux. It's been interesting to say the least. I tend to weigh the most on Wed lol. Even though there is no way that I can actually have gained weight from the previous 2 days. Body retaining water from exercising I guess.

My plan is to count calories, work out every day if possible, drink more water, and to stay motivated.
