Okay so technically I lost 9 lbs. I weighed 154.4 on March 5 but thought I would do myself a favor by not looking at the ounces. I'm happy considering I have had quite a few challenges with sick kids and Easter! Congrats to everyone! I'm so very proud of you all!

I knew that I wasn't going to get to the 10lbs but I am happy that I almost got to the 5lbs...now just 5 more lbs before the end of April and I will have hit my overall goal before my 35th birthday!

I lost a total of 5 pounds. It is my break though from a 9 month rut. So I am proud of myself.

March 12 - 158.5. A pound and a half since my first post two weeks ago! Time to up the work outs and cut the beer! Even if I lose 2 pounds a week I won't make the 10 pound goal, but I don't care because at that point I will be two pounds away from my goal!

Hello everyone:) 10 by Easter sounds perfect...looking forward to doing this the right way this time. I've lost weight in the past but I have not always been healthy about my methods...usually eating one large meal a day and then curbing my appetite with caffeine and cigarettes (just quit january 1!!!:) No more of that.
I am finally at the point in my life where I'm incredibly grateful for my health and I want to take care of myself...no more crash diets....healthy eating and back to running. I'm grateful for the support!!! :)

Yikes! Today was is my weigh in day for this challenge. I weighed in at 161. Which means I gained 4 pounds on my Florida vacation. I was hoping to lose some of it by today, but did not. Not sure why though. I have been doing really good eating and exercising this week. I'm feeling kind of frustrated. Hopefully next Thursday I will have better results.

I had a question, does anyone else have an issue with their tracker, I put in lbs for weight loss but it shows up in KG but not with any conversion, just as the total number of lbs. Eg. 1l lbs lost = ll kg lost on the tracker?? Any suggestions?

Thanks for bringing this one up, I'm heading to Florida in April and I'm not looking forward to shedding my winter camoflage, so I had started this month with a goal to lose 10 by the flight on the first. I'm very tall so my total target started at 26 with 18 left to go but I'd be estatic for 9 by April. Good luck everyone!

Studies show that you are more likely to regain the weight if it comes off too fast. 2 lbs per week is the recommended amount. Don't be too hard on yourself. It took time to put on extra weight, and will take some time to have it come off again. You can do this. Find the habits that are causing gain, and find a way to change those. The more acceptable the changes to you, the likelier that you will stick with them. Good luck.

Hi Everyone. This will be a big challenge for me, but I'm eager to try. I have to add more exercise to my routine, and I started this morning by getting up before the kids to run on the treadmill. Hoping that my forcing myself to get the exercise out of the way, I'll lose more weight. I'm hoping for 7-8 lbs by Easter- I have never lost 2 lbs a week!

Ok, so I finally weighed myself today. I started on February 1 and weighed 120 lbs. Today, I am at 115!!!

I'll try for 5 too...if I get closer to ten lbs I may combust with excitement...I haven't been sub 140 since I was 16!

I'll try, though I am down to my last 9-17 lbs, too... I'll go for the pound a week, but won't get upset it it's half a pound a week. I doubt I can do 2 lbs a week. I've been doing Jillian Michaels workouts for 11 days straight to see if I can get it all off by the end of April... I've been averaging a pound a week, which feels like a triumph when you're this close.

10 pounds by Easter will mean that I hit my first big weight loss goal. It will put me at 150 and I started this at 176. I'm hoping this will hellp keep me motivated.

March 1st - 160 lbs.

I'm in also!

March 1: 123.8
March 8: 122.9 (-.9 clearly 1 lb a week is going to be more realistic for me, but I'll still shoot for 2!)
March 15: 122.9 (no change - had a very bad couple of food days this weekend.)
March 22: 122.5 (-.4 -so slow going. it gets so hard when you're near your goal weight. I'll keep trying though.)

I'm up for the challenge but would like to shed 20 pounds by Easter. It wasn't until I took pictures of my fat a. . belly, side, and back and started P90X that I realized how big I have gotten.

I'm in...don't think I will hit 10lbs seeing I only have about 5-10 lbs to hit my goal weight, so I will say 5 lbs by Easter would be great, that would be 1 lb per week...

Hi everyone!!
I'm setting myself a personal challenge of losing 10lbs by this Easter and thought I'd see if anyone else would like to join me!?!
I'll weigh in on Monday 1st March for my start weight and finish on Easter Monday - so that will be 10lbs in exactly 5 weeks, so 2lbs a week to lose!
