I went BM today no problem been getting up earlier and earlier since I been eating better don't know why that is maybe since I am eating better I need less sleep I guess. I am drinking water I am trying to drink more water but I've only been on this diet for three days I'm getting used to drinking water and juice or smoothies.......I am also going to try a variety of fruits and veggies I'll get different SP Veggie Recipes to try and that's how I'll get my veggies in besides eating some raw with a little hummus or dip.

If you did not give me the strength, I would still be too shy to stand.

I agree with reading Dr. McDougall's books, also Dr. Fuhrman

just make sure your eating a variety of fruits and veggies

Have you read Dr. McDougall's book. Digestive Tune Up? I find that following closely to a starch based high fiber diet my IBS is totally under control. I have no pain, no bloating, no constipation, no very slow motility.. If I stray at all.. It can all come back for a few days ... So then I go back to eating healthy foods and my tummy and bowels are very happy.

So I've started this new Vegetarian/Vegan Smoothie Diet Mix. I can say that I used to have the runs every day.......now it's getting more harder to go and do my business. What Can I do? They say Egg plant is a natural laxative.......well I guess it binds me up. I just want to be regular. I started this diet to avoid IBS-D which I have done with flying colors. What Can I add to my diet to get rid of the constipation and make it more "regular" Any Comments from Veterans on this diet would be helpful. Thank you.
