When I travel I bring my Instant Pot (electric pressure cooker) with me. Makes cooking possible in motel/hotel rooms. Potatoes, rice, oatmeal, vegs, beans. Anything you want!

Some people think the “plant-based whole foods diet” is extreme. Half a million a year will have their chests opened up and a vein taken from their leg and sewn onto their coronary artery. Some people would call that extreme.

The happycow website is a good resource for planning ahead. I've used it many times to plan and also leave reviews.

I would make salads that can last like quinoa are rice based salads with falafel or something, fruit, nuts, oatcakes, etc

I have a dumb phone, so I'm just trying to do as much work in advance as possible. Thanks, though.

I also use an app called "happy cow" when traveling to find vegan/vegetarian places to eat out.

Hi Everyone! I'll be traveling with my family next week to Florida. We'll be driving for 24 hours (about). Anyone have any good suggestions for healthy travel food? We're planning on staying overnight in a hotel one night and we'll be at our friends' house by the next evening, so I'll be having lunch, dinner, breakfast and lunch on the road. I'll be able to cook once I get to our destination, but I'm going to try to bring all my food with me for the road meals (my family isn't vegan, so they'll be eating out for dinner and breakfast and eating lunches in the van). I'll have a cooler with me and a box of food, but I'm just looking for creative ideas. Thanks in advance.
