Here is a vegan black bean burger recipe that does hold together and is very good. The recipe calls for fresh cilantro but I use parsley instead because my daughter doesn't like cilantro.

gie-burger/ I make them all of the time and people just rave about them. They have oats, (recipe calls for quick oats, I never have them in my pantry but if you whirl whole oats in a blender for a few seconds, you have quick oats!) carrots, rinsed black beans and spices.
