There's a sushi print dress on Thinkgeek with pockets that I really want but going by their measurement chart, it won't fit. :(

That's cool that you can do that! I wish I could. I can cut and pin and that's about it. lol.

One of my coworkers sews, and she said she'd make me a dress with pockets. She's amazing... good geek and then some!

For a long time I've wanted to pull out my sewing machine and alter a bunch of tshirts to fit me better. Either they're men's boxy cut or just don't fit as well as I'd like. Like I have a sugar skull Vader helmet shirt that I love but it's a men's shirt. One of these days I'm going to do it, probably stitch up the sides and maybe arms to make them more tailored. ONE DAY!

That's pretty cool! :)
Lots of good stuff.

ZOMG, you stealing your hubby's stuff reminds me... I might almost be small enough to steal my teenager's nerdy shirts... Squee (he's gonna hate me).

Okay, one problem with the fandoms is that I got a bunch of Firefly/Serenity shirts in 2X. I might trim off the sleeves and bottom and wear them anyway, like I do my software swag men's shirts from work conferences. lol.

love it!

Wore a "Dungeons and Cats" tank to the gym the other day :) And was gifted a "need more coffee" shirt and a Totoro top, too. Hmm.... have a Justice League; Minecraft stylized Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain; love to steal my hubby's Avengers in chibi shirt... so many cute things! :D

Awesome! Yeah, with both of these, you'll see I've got long tank tops underneath them, because most babydoll shirts just don't cover the tummy. I've got a few more that I'm just about back into.

I'm currently looking for long-sleeved shirts in a similar material to these tank tops, to wear as undershirts to the ones I have, cause yeah, my bingo-wings are a little too on-display for my liking.

My sister and I always talked about being Two Broke Girls for Halloween, but, I could never fit in the costumes... I think I might be close now.

I have bought quite a few nerdy shirts over the years but, for the most part, couldn't fit in them. You know how sizing goes...I need to pull them out and try them on again. I have that same Self Rescuing Princess shirt, but I've never worn it! I love that Java dress on you, it looks great!

I was at Disney this weekend and with all the nerdy stuff they own now, Star Wars and Marvel especially, there were plenty of options to buy but I'm self conscious about my arms and everything I liked was a tank, or they just didn't have the size I needed. One day, I will get there and be able to properly advertise my nerdiness :)

So, I went on a visit to a technology company in San Francisco.
Had to let my geek flag fly while I was there.

The dress is by a company called Svaha, and the code is JavaScript. Everyone was convinced I must've had it custom made, and I'm like, nope! There's a company that does stuff this awesome!
