Wishing everyone a very happy thankful day.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
I am so glad that America (Canada too) have set aside one day a year to be truly thankful for what we have. We should be thankful everyday for all we have but especially today. Enjoy the day and be grateful. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

It will be a quiet Thanksgiving here. I am doing all the cooking. My DH and brother are not picky so they will get nothing but healthy. My 16 yr old only eats the turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. So, I'm making mashed cauliflower for me and have a cranberry relish tart for dessert for me. I should get in all my walking and be able to decorate for Xmas over the next 3 days.

Hope everyone has a relaxing holiday as well as successful for you.

I'm cooking up a storm this week. Since my sweetie and I won't be spending T-day together, I'm making a romantic dinner for us tomorrow night. I'm making a lot for T-day... something for everyone. Not everything is healthy, but I'll skip this really bad stuff. I'm planning on making lots of turkey stock and taking leftovers for tailgating for the last Stanford game on Saturday. My sweetie and I are running on Tuesday and T-day... maybe Sunday, too.

50 is the new 30.

Honestly, I am a little worried. We are going out of town (a VERY long drive) and I will not have access to all my normal stuff. We are heading to the PNW, so that means lots of rain and cold weather... Not sure if I will be able to work out as much. I am going to try nonetheless!

Good Monday morning all!

Since today is Monday, I was just wondering what everyone has planned for Thanksgiving week. I'm sure a lot of work places will be having celebrations or at least a few people will bring treats in to share. How do you plan to avoid temptation and stay on track?

I'm planning to use the the "Thank you, I'll be sure to try some in a while." ploy. I personally am not going to be bringing in any treats this week as its going to be extremly busy at home and I won't have time to do anything special. I have pies to bake and a trailer to pack in preperation for the big weekend.

I hope everyone stays on track and has a great Holiday!

There is just one rule with no exceptions: Before victory comes temptation.

When you act without thinking, you don't make the decision, the decision makes you.
