When it is warm/hot I go in the evening and on my days off I go in the morning . During the cooler months I go after work ( I get off at noon, but get up at 4 to start at 6am),or when it warms up. I love to walk/jog -fresh air ! emoticon

I walk 2 times a day for 20 mins, do the exercise ball 3x a week with a 15 min video from SP and I'm going to add some yoga this week.

I do circuit training first thing in the morning. I'm at the gym by 5:30 a.m. On Saturdays, I sleep later and try to get to the gym by 8:00 a.m. Sometimes I do additional cardio after work. I try for one to two bonus sessions a week. It depends on how I feel.

I like to work out in the mornings. It get's my metabolism going for the day and helps me handle my daily diet better. I like to do interval walking on the treadmill for 45 minutes. Then I do my strength and vector resistance training with my TRX.

I like to work out in the mornings. If I workout at home it's quiet everyone still sleeping and if I go to the gym hardly anyone there and I can use alot of the machines. It also gives me energy throughout the day and I don't have to worry about not working out at the end of the day if I had a hard day at work.

I typically work out in the evenings. I also signed up with a running group, registered for a 1/2 marathon so I HAVE to follow my training schedule or else pay for it later...and I don't want to injure myself. My exercise routine is literally an appointment in my planner.
I do commute to work on my bike about 25% of the time, 27 miles roundtrip. I really do like commuting on my bike and the health benefit and crosstraining is a HUGE bonus.

I'm NOT a morning person and I don't have any kids so I do it after work, when working, and catch the 5:30 classes at my gym. I take step and kickboxing classes then do kickboxing on Saturdays. Some Sundays I play volleyball and I'm looing for a tennis or badmitton partner!

I prefer to exercise first thing in the morning. Usually I can make it to the physical therapy gym one or two days a week. But have fallen off the wagon there. This week I have recommited to going to the gym at least two days a week and slowly increase it to 3 or 4 days a week. I just created a gym goal to help me get back into the habit of going to the gym regularly.

I have Sacfit so I am doing workouts with them three days a week. I walk every day from my office to Calpers for lunch (a mile round trip) I also walk frequently with my neighbors and a dog of mine. On Sundays my three dogs have a puppy playdate with a good friend and their dog. We walk down the street with 300 pounds of dog to get our upper body workout in for the week.

I pop in a video about 5am and watch half of it while I bike . Then I do floor exercise for abut 10-15 minutes.
In the evening about 7 I ride bike and watch the second half of movie. Works great for me!!

I swim, run, cycle, and teach 3 pre and post natal fitness classes a week. I fit my workout in whenever I can and thankfully my husband is great about helping make sure I get my workout in each day.

I am a morning person, so I do my Walk away the pounds with Leslie Sansome.. just a mile and some dancing and strength exercises .. using my dumbbells and elastic bands at least 3 times a week. I try to fit in Pilates at least 2 times a week.

Looking at adding some water aerobics here pretty soon. Need them badly.

Well I bike commute to work most days (sometimes I take Wed. off if I play volleyball that day or when I have a cross town appt.). Additionally I play volleyball on Sundays and Wednesdays for the moment. However, this Sunday I am starting my fitness classes through ARC/SCC. I'm taking volleyball on Sundays, Swimming Mons and Weds., and kickboxing on Tues and Thurs. This will of course be in addition to my bike commute.

Hello all,
I prefer to exercise in the mornings before work, but I don't do it often, as I start work at 6 pm, and already get up at 4:15. I just plain refuse to get up at 3 am to exercise. So, most days, I go to the gym (24 hr fitness on Fulton) after work, usually around 3:30. Today and yesterday and Monday, as a matter of fact, I was there later, at closer to 5.
I do the treadmill, though I know one is supposed to mix it up a bit and change exercises every -8 weeks...so today i did the upper extremity cycle thingy and tried the rowing machine. I think I like the rowing machine, but I was not wearing the right shoes and my feet kept slipping out!
I exercise 4 days a week, currently, for 55 minutes, though I am working on throwing in an extra day to get to that 15 pounds I need to lose before surgery.

Welll, hello Sacramento Sparkers.

I play tennis typically on Saturday morning, though I try to get an evening in from time to time.

Walk before and after work...sometimes will get in a mile walking around the Capitol as well.

Treadmill 4 nights a week...strength train and core exercises at night, also, in front of the tube....

I'm walking and doing water resistance exercises and thinking of joining a country club for more water exercises and other exercise classes. We'll see.

I exercise during the day. I usually use the computer for exercise videos and spark people. I also walk around the block and sometimes ride my bicycle.

Just curious how everyone fits exercise into their busy schedule, and what kind of workouts you do?

I get up at 5:45 (unless it's the weekend, when I'll "sleep in" till 6:30 or so). I usually walk around the park or ride our exercise bike, and lately I've been going for a long bike ride on Saturday morning to change things up. Once in a while I'll do a yoga dvd or weights. I exercise 5 days/week.

I love getting it out of the way first thing! I used to try to exercise in the evening and it just didn't happen, I was tired or I'd want to meet friends for drinks or whatever.
