Olivia Jane was born Wed Aug 18th at 2pm. My water broke that morning at 4am and they started pitocin by 730am. I progressed fast after that and ended up having to just chill out and labor down for 2 hours while waiting for some of epidural to wear off so I could push. I had no muscle motor down there to push with because they had to give me 3 doses of the epi for it to take effect.

She was 8pounds exactly and 19.5 inches long. She is such a sweet baby so far. My 2.5 year old is adjusting ok, sometimes she acts a little jealous, other times she is curious.

I am 3 days PP and lost 8 pounds but gained 2 back today when my milk came in. I'm anxious to see what 1 week PP brings in that department.

I asked my Dr when I could start working out again, he said as soon as my body feels like it! which is great! I thought I would have to wait 6 weeks. I asked if I had any restrictions as far as working out is concerned and he said no just listen to my body.

Obviously I'm not going to start exercising today but maybe after 2 weeks I can start walking..I'm so excited to be back!!

I can't believe I am down over 70 pounds since last year!
