My hubby started at the gym with me too Gayle, and has dropped out too. It does make it hard to go back, but I have been forcing myself to, and I love working out.

We will just have to be as you said, responsible for motivating ourselves!

I know we can do it!

Wow, Kerry, I'm sorry to hear about one of your puppies getting hit. I'm glad it's going to be fine! emoticon

I haven't done so well lately. Been slacking in all departments. The husband has even been working out in the basement rather than going to the gym with me so that makes me a little disappointed and angry. He was so gung ho about it all and yet again, now he is worrying about himself and he has even lost 7 lbs. Kills me! But I guess it's just another reminder and I swear I hear a voice telling me (God?) that I need to not count on others for motivation/encouragement and to motivate/encourage myself. I am responsible for me, no one else is. Still it's disappointing. Something tells me if I really rise up on the inside for myself and not count on others I will do what needs to be done. I feel like I'm getting an attitude adjustment the hard way. ha ha

Good morning all!

What a horrible weekend! Not only exercise and food wise, but one of my puppies was hit by a car so I spent most of the weekend at the vets and making sure she was sleeping and giving her pills and so on. Luckily she is going to be fine!

We start survivor challenge on Friday and I start my Weight Wise class on Monday, so this is going to be great!

Hi there! I am feeling pretty good today. Got a great workout in yesterday and managed to eat well under my calorie max. Yay! My running partner is injured but I am planning on going without him. I hate running so send me some positive running thoughts later today - I have no excuses to skip this weeks run. (except laziness).

Hello team!

I'm doing okay today. I'm a little stressed and don't think I can hit the gym today, so I'm really bummed about that. I have a paper to write, and that's consuming my life right now. Ugh. My eating is going well, though. I really hope I lose the 2 pounds to make it to 140 by this Friday, but with last weekend, I'm not sure I will :( Ah well, there's always next week!

Hello all. I have the day off, so I'm planning a quiet day. I'm not sure if I'll do any exercise today. I plan on doing some housework, so I won't be completely lazy. I was up way too early, thanks to my neighbor doing yard work at 7:30, so I might just take a nap this afternoon. I hope you all have a fantastic day.

Amy--I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. Remember to take it easy, and not over do it.

Good morning all. Hope everyone had a good night last night and a great morning so far.

I'm feeling a little bit better this morning, the muscle relaxers help and I was able to do 30 minutes on the treadmill last night (slowly) and I hope to get in a short swim tonight. Going to do some more easy stretch yoga tonight also. Just need to remember to take it easy and not pull at that muscle so it continues to loosen.
