Yeah, I think we all feel that way at times. It's the nature of the beast - at least it is for people like me who like variety. I usually just try not to work on my studies ALL day through, or just schedule a few days a week to get important things done. Interspersed with personal reading, tv, movies, web surfing, my studies don't seem so monotonous.

Absolutely!!! I'm writing the last two chapters of my dissertation right now. Most days, I am enjoying it .... at least enjoying getting progress made. But some days it just seems worthless, especially with the depressed job market right now.

I keep going by doing something, anything on my dissertation every day. That was advice my master's thesis advisor years ago, and it seems to help. By the next day, I'm often more ready to get a big batch of work done.

Right now I am totally sick of grad school. I'd think about quiting but I have come so far and only a few courses left. Anyone ever felt this way and if so , how do you keep on?
