We buy our refill kits through ebay. The ones we use are a needle attached to a bulb. Easy to use, fills the container, and is cheap. Can make a mess though, so don't refill in your nice clothes!

Check for refill stores nearby. They will usually refill for half the cost of a new cartridge, and some may even offer student discounts.

Could have risen to the clouds,
Could have touched these winds,
Bent and broken them down,
Could have stood up sharply in the sky.

I knew the cartridges would be a bit smaller (i had to get a new PSC a couple months ago--deskjet F4480), but I didn't think i'd run out of ink so quickly. I put one cartridge in to do some printing/copying i had to replace it again the next morning! i mean, that's an awful lot of replacing, especially when i get good and busy.

I see different refill systems or refurbished cartridges online, but I don't know these sellers--has anybody tried using any of them? i can't afford new cartridges over and over if they've got refill kits or systems somewhere for much less in the long run (the stores don't have them, not for the #60, anyway--not yet), and i couldn't fill them when i tried with my old inkjet refill systems (its like it wouldn't take the ink for some reason, or maybe a different structure wouldn't let it in, dunno)

There're lots of sites, it seems, but i'm wondering if anybody's gone online and got a great deal and didn't get a piece of crap back with a complicated system. I'm trying to reduce the amount of money i'm spending, and i've got oodles of research soon--this is nuts!

any help would be great. it's only a matter of time before this ink goes on me, too. any site online you'd recommend for getting ink or ink refill systems please lemme know.
