I, too, am allergic to perfumes especially the floral ones and Calvin Klein. I hate Calvin Klein scent. I'm also allergic to scented products such as laundry soap, other soaps, deodorant, etc.

As a matter of fact, strong smells of any kind give me a headache like diesel fumes and cigars (yuck!).

I've recently been mildly allergic to shrimp much to my dismay since shrimp is the one seafood that I really love but it makes me itchy but just a little bit so I still may indulge from time to time. I shouldn't be surprised about this one since I have two sisters who are very allergic to shrimp.

I'm majorly allergic to dogs and a little allergic to cats. Pollen and ragweed are other culprits. And, dust and mold as well.

I'm allergic to something else but I don't know what and my doctor says that my symptom is too hard to nail down (my upper arms get itchy). I've stopped taking Sulfasalazine, Plaquenil and Arava because my rheumy thought one of them might be causing the itchiness and although it's better, it still happens from time to time.

My name is Joanna not Joanne, please and thank you.

The usual pollen, dust, mold, mildly to latex & shellfish. I try not to let the sensitivities run my life, just keep flonase & neti pot handy, and avoid when I can, without hiding out in a bubble.

Absolutely agree...if you can't smell your perfume after one spray it's time to change brands these people must become immune to the scent of it after wearing it so long. I always seem to get caught in the elevator with this type. I can't breath I'm in there using an inhaler and they still don't get it. So frustrating why doesn't their family tell them you no longer smell good you downright stink!

Got my allergies tested when I was in FL-I was allergic to almost everything but mallalucca
(which is the plant everyone else is allergic to)!
Since we are on the subject-I'm going to state my peace-I am very allergic to perfume. We are
one of the few doctors offices that does not require no perfume-the people who come in wearing
massive amts,I spend as little time with as possible! One lady wears so much that other patients complain -I eventually said something-but it didn't make a difference...

LOL! Heather, I so relate!
Shellfish, any "oily" fish... tuna makes my lips swell...
Pollen, Mold, codiene, cayenne pepper(which appears to be the "spice de jour" since every restaurant I go in has it in something...), certain horse breeds, grass, okra. Sometimes even the sun... BEES! Certain perfumes. Shampoo. Some perm solutions. Great thing if you are a hairdresser...LOL! Cigarette smoke("weed", too!), pipe or cigar smoke.
My allergist says I can have a reaction at any time to anything... so, I am cautious all of the time. I carry an epipen at all times.
BUT! My dogs do not bother me, not my Amazon Parrot! Go figure!

severe intolerance, but not allergy to gluten.
