Goals for this year: fully recover from hip replacement surgery, hoping to get as much of my fitness back as I can within whatever limitations my surgeon sets for me, and to solve the insomnia monster that has plagued for so long I can't even remember when it first started!! 3-4 hours broken sleep a night is just plain unhealthy :((

My goal is to be happy with me. I have always been trying to please other people--other standards than what I want. This year I am losing weight for me. I am being healthy for me. Sure it benefits others and my husband is mighty pleased too, but this time, it is my choice, and my motivation. That is the key goal for this year is paying attention to what I need.

My goal is to lose at least 1/2 a pound a week and to be more faithful to staying connected with SP support groups. They have helped a lot in the past and when I don't post I fail.

Lose an average of one pound per week all year. It took 3 years for me to gain 80 pounds, so I know it will take time to lose it in a healthy way and keep it off.

Put on moisturizer and foundation on my face each day. My skin is getting old enough that I need to start doing this, and I've been terribly lazy about it this year.
