My husband knows when I am stressed.....I clean, clean, clean! . emoticon

I can spend hours in my garden digging, hauling, planting...It brings out the 8 year old tomboy in me. emoticon

The treadmill used to be my other destressor. emoticon

Since cleaning, the treadmill and gardening are painful right now, my new destressors are the pool emoticon and music. emoticon I have found days I keep music going, I handle things better. My go to music is KSBJ.org.

I am also a retreat and recharge person. A good book usually does it. emoticon My husband is a mix with people recharger but I am converting him to a reader.

I like these ideas! Stress is very hard on you when you have RA. Music would be great and just getting away for a bit, like taking a walk. I am going to try some of these.

I am a gamer too, so I either hit the gym or hit the PC. The gym helps more than the pc though, pounding a treadmill or an elliptical helps get the aggression out. I have access to a couple pools now though, so may be trying that soon!

I work from home and need to get out of the house is it's a work stressor. I usually head to the gym for Body Combat or Zumba, and then to Target to look at cleaning supplies. By the time I'm home, I am a much easier person to deal with.

It depends on how "stressful" it is -- I either play on the computer or go for a walk to burn off the steam building up inside me!!
