I want to climb a mountain. The reason I haven't is because of my COPD. I need to work on my breathing and get it to the point that I would be able to breathe in the "thin air!" I would need to make it a "girl's trip" as my husband can't go above 1 mile do to his heart condition (last time we ended up in the hospital the entire vacation!). I would need to save up money to cross this off my "bucket list."

I can do ALL things through Christ whom strengthens me.

I want to go zip-lining and rock climb outdoors. Why not... ankle injury last year. I was planning to do both until I twisted my ankle last February and tore my postmentibialus (sp?) tendon. After a misdiagnosis and a lot of time I had surgery to replace the tendon and have been recovering since October. I have just been cleared for gym climbing and outdoor climbing next year. I WILL do these things even though it's taking longer than I'd like.

I've wanted to learn how to play golf for a long time. When I was younger, I played competitive softball and the golf swing messed up my softball swing. Now, all of my money goes to my kids so there isn't anything left for lessons and greens fees - LOL.

trail riding on horseback, did once in college years, haven't since, out of consideration for the poor horse! Will try again, tho, should I ever get below 200 again, God willing!

Hang gliding or jumping out of a plane with a parachute and scuba diving. I can't do the plane jump because of the pins in my neck, could do damage. I would try hang gliding but had a friend die this way. I am claustrophobic so couldn't have the scuba gear covering my fact but I can swim underwater with no problems holding my breath and love body surfing at the beach.

Kyaking, mtn biking, zip lining-so many things I want to do-mostly it is alack of funds &/or
time...one thing I've been wanting to do is pottery on a wheel-my mom's best friends husband
has his own wheel & kiln & is willing to teach me in the near future! woo-hoo!
PS-Bkwerm-I used to roller blade(when I still had an ACL)-it was great fun! (just don't listen
to Pat Benetar while you do it-you start skating with the music-easier to wipe out)!

I've always thought that roller blading looked fun and spinning looks like a great way to burn calories but I hate bicycling so I can't see that spinning would be any better and I tried roller skating when I was a teen and couldn't manage that so I definitely think roller blading is out, too. Besides that, DH says I have too much trouble just walking without falling; it would be ludicrous for me to try roller blading!
