I have a membership with Daily Burn. They have plenty of things there with cardio, strength traning, and a mix of both. Love it.

I LOVE strength training! I was lazy last week, but I've been using the "StrongLifts 5x5" workout program for weight lifting 3 days/week and alternating HIIT cardio on the between days. I wish I had access to a competition/training pool so I could swim laps.

Just call me La. Most everyone else does.

I agree Gwenn! Strength training really changes the shape of your body I find and makes you feel so fit and strong! I find even if I don't change in weight my body looks completely different when I am ST and when I am not.

I do! I started with a program called Chalean Extreme, which focuses on lifting heavier weights and not a lot of reps. I felt like this helped me gain muscle quickly. Sometimes I get bored with just this as a workout program, so I combine it with cardio. In two of my other programs (21 Day Fix and Fix Extreme), there are quite a few workouts with weights, but it is lighter and more reps. This time I am eating every 2 hours, 8 times a day, which is a LOT of work but I can tell a difference in how my body is responding. Not sure I can keep that up, but I could probably do every 3 hours.

Anyway, I love strength training! Makes me feel like a beast :)

Gwenn

I like to do a mixture of plyometrics, body weight, and free weights to do my strength. I am the type that gets bored really easily so I try to switch it up on a regular basis.
