I want to lose the baby belly from my son 6 years ago. I had a C-Section and know that the muscles in the lower abs are going to take a lot longer to go down than normal.

I have run a few half marathons, though it has been a few years - I think I would like to get back to that!

Haha, good points! I think the most important thing is just trying to find routine/plan that works best for you!

I would definitely love to run a 5K this spring. I always feel so awesome and accomplished every time I do, even if I'm no speed demon. The biggest obstacle right now is being a new working mom. I just don't have extra time I'd like to spend training, so right now things are just kind of on hold. Hopefully once warmer weather hits we'll at least be doing tons of walking with the stroller.

On a bigger scale, I'd love to eventually hike up another 14,000 foot mountain. My DH, sister, and sister-in-law hiked up Pike's Peak a couple summers ago and it was an incredible experience!

MRSDROP11--yes, I actually tried Couch 2 5K briefly once before. I honestly didn't do too well with it. I'm considering trying something a little different this time that I read on a runner's web site. It's really the same concept as C25K except that rather than certain times, you simply go out, walk briskly for 5 min to warm up, then you spent 20 min alternating between running until you can hear your own breathing and walking until you catch your breath enough to stop hearing it, back and forth, then you do the last 5 mins as a cool down walk. So it's the same idea really, but I felt like that sounded like an interesting, slightly more intuitive idea. Plus my phone is bulky as heck, so running with it for the app was extra annoying! Lol.

By the end of this year (2015), I want to:

1. Do 5 un-assisted pull-ups
2. Squat my start weight (175 lb)
3. Decrease my body fat percentage by 15%
4. Drop 2 clothing sizes

Rationale:
1. Pull-ups are hard, and I want to challenge my strength.
2. This feels like a realistic goal, and I like lifting weights.
3. This decrease would put me at the top end of "ideal" body fat percentage (22%). If I can get lower, that'd be great.
4. I'd love to be back in a size 8, but I realize that women's clothing sizes are fairly subjective and not all manufacturers are the same (which sucks). I think my body looked best when I was an 8/10; I'm currently a 12/14, so I don't have far to go if I just get my butt in gear.

Would I like to be able to wear a bikini at the beach? I guess, but I can't ever find a "sporty" one that I like that I could run around in without either: a) being in pain, or b) "blowing out" (y'all know what I mean). It seems like most bikinis are cut really skimpy, and I'd rather be able to run around and do stuff in mine. Maybe I'll just find some cute sports bras in fun colors and match them with random bottoms from a swim outlet store.

Just call me La. Most everyone else does.

I have a few fitness goals I try to keep in mind, although most are really long term goals! The first is to tone up my thighs - I carry most of my extra weight there, and while I've accepted they will always be on the large size, I'd like them to look a bit sleeker.

Next, I'd like to get back to running. I hate treadmills, but I'm fine with running outside in the cold. I actually ran my first 5k this time last year, barely made it but I finished! Then, this summer, we had some sketchy guy hanging around my neighborhood grabbing women and chasing them down. Scared me so much I haven't been back out since, so I want to get over my fear and be able to run again.

Finally, I had a really intense yoga class a few years back that pushed me a lot further than I'd ever thought possible. I was at the point where I was contemplating attempting a handstand. But I badly sprained my ankle, was out for months, and in that time the teacher moved on. So my eventual goal is to get back to that level of fitness.

I'm sure you've heard of it before, but the Couch to 5K program is nice when you are trying to build up to running a 5K. I LOVE that they have an app I can use on my phone that dings each time you are supposed to run or walk.

I'm hoping to teach myself to run this spring and run a 5k for the first time sometime in April or May. I'm also just looking to get to a more healthy weight overall for me. Plus sized clothes shopping can be very frustrating and I just want to move myself back down to a weight where it's easier to find clothes I love that fit my age group instead of the age group 20+ years my senior!

I would truly love to be able to feel confident with myself naked or in a bikini! Fitness wise I would love to have a flat stomach with great abs- it's alot of work and I've been losing my steam lately.

I want to strengthen my abdominal muscles and also up my endurance levels. Previously I felt tired and sluggish most of the time but I'm noticing an increase in energy since my weight loss and increased activity.

Losing weight and looking good are also part of the equation if I'm being honest. I am only 5'2" and I don't want to be wide as I am tall!

Most of us are trying to lose weight to have healthier pregnancies, but what other goals do you have. Can't wait to run a 5K? Dreaming of wearing a bikini at the beach this summer? Just want to make it up several flights of stairs without getting winded? What's a personal fitness goal of yours?
