My husband and I have already decided on names and we aren't even pregnant yet lol! But if we have a girl (which I hope we do) it will be Sophie Mina (Mina after my Oma) and if its a boy Benjamin Robert (Robert after DH his grandfather). Hopefully we will end up having one of each and don't have to think of any other girl or boy names! Wouldn't that be ideal!

I'm still in search for the perfect name. We live in the Netherlands but my in-laws are British. So it has to be a Dutch name that is not too difficult or too different when pronounced in English.

For girls I always thought of Maartje (my mother's name is Martha), but that would sound a little strange in English. I also love Julia or Sophie. For boys I'm not sure. I always imagined myself having girls so I haven't thought about that much until now.

Ah well, I'm not pregnant yet, so we have time...

My DH and I have had baby names picked out since before we were officially dating.
Madison Ryan (after my brother who passed) has been my all time favourite name. However, we each have a cousin whose already named their child Madison. It's running on both sides of the family already AND it's one of the most popular girls names. I think we've decided not to go that route anymore.
DH is Italian and he hates that his parents didn't give him an Italian name (it's Benjamin). So, he's insisting that we give our son (at least the first one) an Italian name. As it happens, I am not a fan of most italian names. My son will not be Joe or Tony or anything like that. I searched Italian boy names and came up with a few that I don't hate. Luca, Dante, Leo. He wants Paolo (after is nono) but I hate it. I am not giving my son a name that I have to struggle to say. Pow-Low is how he says it, instead of the Canadianized version Paul-O. It doesn't quite roll of the tongue. LOL

I love many of the names with history in my family and in my husband's family: Graham, Theodore, Marian, Laura, Annette. But very specifically, my father passed away a few years ago, and since then I have been obsessed with wanting someone in our family to give his name to a baby - Charles. Honestly I like it for either gender, and it hasn't been taken yet! So maybe something like Annette "Annie" Charles, or Charles Graham.

My Fiance is a huge fan of Dukes of Hazard and Country music, so he had this boys name picked out for years before we even met. He wouldn't even tell me at first because he thought I wouldn't like it. I have to say it wouldn't have been my first choice, but after months of guessing every horrible name I could think of, I know that it could definitely be worse.

Boy: Waylon James

The girl's name is just one that we both like. Something easy to say, spell, and not something you hear very often. The middle name is a name that I like and since I'm giving him Waylon, I get to have this name :)

Girl: Quinn Annaliese

For boys, we have: Nathaniel Stuart and Jacob Alexander
For girls, we have: Natalie Rose and Abigail Marie

I think? We have had a lot of names picked out and we write them down and then we forget.

The boy's name we have picked out is my favorite: Layton Andrew
First name is my maiden name, and the middle is my husband's which was passed from his father so it will be a third-generation middle name.

The girl's name I REALLY like is Elizabeth Berenice, who would go by "Libby". Elizabeth is my second name (was middle, but I combined it to give myself a double first name when I married) and has also belonged to many other female members of my family. Berenice was my great-grandmother's middle name. DH is fine with Elizabeth, but hates Berenice.

Personally, I'm hoping we have boys because I have an aversion to pink frilly things.

Just call me La. Most everyone else does.

We have had a girl's name picked out since we were pregnant with our miscarriage baby. That would be Abigail Catherine.

Not sure a boy's name anymore since we used the name that we both liked on our son. LOL

My boyfriend and I have already decided that if we were to have a girl her name would be Lola May. I love the name Lola and my mom's birthday is in May. We haven't really decided on a boy's name yet, but I've always liked the name Joshua. That's also my boyfriend's name and he did say that he'd like to name his son after himself, haha.

We both really love the name Emmaline Grace, but Emma is such a popular name right now that we probably won't go that direction.

For a girl we are torn between Victoria Rose and Sophia Ann. For a boy my husband wants to name after my FIL- Dennis Dale however I think we should do a combo of both fathers- Charles Dennis or Dennis Charles. Our boys middle names are all after men in the family.
