I'm currently going through treatment plans. I've had all of my testing and have a diagnosis of endometriosis (which I knew that I had). I hopefully headed towards my first IUI. I took clomid for the first time last week for a few days and last night I gave myself a shot of FSH Bravelle. I'm scheduled to go in tomorrow for bloodwork and my ultrasound to see how my follies are doing. I'm pretty excited, but also anxious and nervous.

I've been eating pretty well lately and I've been staying on track. I've eliminated caffeine from my diet and no longer drink my daily cup of coffee, or sodas or tea. I'm drinking at least 100 oz of water every day and I'm avoiding fast food/convenience foods at all costs.

I'm really hoping that Spring comes soon - all of the snow and cold weather has caused me to stay inside a good bit this winter.

Hello Candace! I was going through fertility treatments myself last month. I had the regular work-up; 3 day labs, ultrasounds, HSG, etc. etc....and eventually a brain MRI. The plan was to do an IUI with the help of ovulation induction with injectable gonadtropins (clomid doesn't work for me). I cancelled at the beginning of the cycle because I decided it would make more sense to lose more weight first and then try in the summertime. The entire procedure (including meds) would have cost us about $3,000 out of pocket, due the day of the procedure. I would rather lose weight and give myself a better shot at it working than to just blow 3 grand and it not work due to my size. My RE agreed that I should lose weight anyway. Good luck with whatever treatments you try, I hope all works out for you! *baby dust*

Just wanted to see if any of my fellow Sparkers are currently seeing an RE for IF treatments. My husband and I are currently in 'treatment' and I'm getting excited. It's nice to have some answers to questions and to have some hope once again.
