I know this is a late reply but after stopping clomid, it stopped my periods for 53 days. When they did come back they were light, lasting 5 days or less and I would spot for days before my period would start. I suspect i have low progesterone now.

I suffered from amenorrhea for 2 years. My OB started me on clomid, but didn't monitor me, so if I didn't show signs of Oing via a OPK by CD 15, she'd chalk it up as a lost cycle, give me progesterone to induce a bleed and try again at a higher dose. This went on for 4 cycles with no luck.

Then I went to my RE, and he would give me clomid but also monitor me. I don't think I ever ovulated before CD 22, but because they monitored me, they could see the follicles very slowly growing. I didn't get pregnant while seeing the RE (DH was diagnosed with testicular cancer, but that's a whole other story), but I did begin to have regular cycles "for me."

One thing my RE taught me was, not everyone ovulates between CD 12 and 15, and it's totally fine and possible to get pregnant ovulating later. The cycle I got pregnant with my son, I ovulated on CD 33 (we conceived on our own). So, moral of the story, Clomid helped me ovulate 10 days earlier than my normal, and when I quit taking it, my cycles went back to 45 days. If I'm reading this right, you've only had one cycle and it was while taking clomid, I'm not sure you have enough anecdotal evidence to assume your cycle is regular yet, medicated or not.

I totally get not wanting to take Clomid and hoping your body is able to normalize on its own, but as awful as it sounds, it may take more time before you really get regular.

Okay, so I took clomid last month and skipped it this month. I had 6 years of amenorrhea (no period) and it finally came back after eating more and gaining heaps of weight. So, the first cycle with my period I took clomid (I had tried clomid before to jumpstart my cycle but it didnt work). I ovulated but didn't get pregnant. I decided to give my body a shot at figuring it out and now I'm on CD 19 and no signs of O. My OPKs are not getting darker either so it doesn't seem like it's right around the corner. I'm getting a little anxious and also discouraged.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Regaining my pre-wedding body! Running, lifting, clean eating, lots of water and patience. Those are the tools that I will use to get there.
