One of my friends had the same side effect. That was the last cycle she used clomid.

Did any one have Clomid affect their eye sight? I swear my eyes have been terrible in the last month or so. It may be the long hours at the computer, but I have read that hormones can affect eye sight. It's not like they're blurry, it's like I need a stronger prescription on my lenses.

I didn't have side effects until a couple days after finishing the dosage too. I was told to take them at night to lessen the side effects, but I don't think that would do too much good since I wasn't getting side effects until days after stopping. It also made my PMS symptoms a lot worse.

Thankfully, I had no side effects. I always took my pills at night just in case.

The only thing I have heard of is to take it at night so if you get hot flashes it is when you are sleeping. Honestly, I don't think there is a way to really avoid the side effects. You're either bloated or not. Emotional or not.

Anything that I can think of that would alleviate the side effects unfortunately is counterproductive with clomid.

I felt worse after I stopped taking them. I think it's because I normally don't have PMS because I don't think my body naturally produces many hormones. So, the Clomid actually made my body function normally which meant I was getting some nasty PMS.

Love,
Hillary

Thank you for the response. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't doing something unusual to my body.

Guestfairy is correct...those darn side effects last all cycle long.

Yes, the effects of the clomid will last for the rest of your monthly cycle. Clomid side effects are evil =/

I finished my 5 day 50 mg cycle of Clomid on Saturday March 20th. While I was taking it, I had some very minor breast tenderness (may have been from lifting or running), but nothing else as far as side effects go. About a few days after I finished taking the Clomid, I began having the hot flashes, nausea, sleeplessness, headaches, and cramping. All that I have read on Clomid said side effects should go away once I'm done taking it. Did anyone not really have side effects while taking it and then get them once they were done?
