I "think" there are some rules about buying off cabbies and such. Am I just making that up everyone? (As you can tell I'm not 100% sure!)

Can't wait to see the cowboys in action again on Sunday. I too loved their comment about balancing brooms on their noses as kids.

I agree! I loved the comment about balancing brooms on their noses as kids paid off! It was so funny.
Why haven't any of them bribed their cabbies to wait for them? I'd think they'll miss fares to wait for the same team which means less income in areas of the world where incomes are low. Anyone have some insight on this?

Barbara, DH and I were talking about the "last is first and first is last" thing too.

Just goes to show that your performance on one leg may have absolutely nothing to do with your performance on the next.

I was worried, too, when they chose the flags but they got through it in no time. They were very lucky that this was an equalizer leg, because they were so far behind the first team--like five hours, I think. My son commented how funny it was that the order finishing this week was almost the reverse of last week's--first last and last first.

YEAH!!!!! great show - I love the cowboys - they totally ROCK!!!
I am also sorry for the team that went home - it was an interesting show.
They went from first to last and the last went to first.
I enjoyed the show!!!!!

I thought this was the best episode. I loved how the cowboys just moved from one task to the next. I thought for sure they were making a mistake doing the flags. Can't wait for next week. Terry

Lots and lots of mistakes and bad cabbies last night! But HOORAY for my cowboys!!!!! I was so thrilled that they did so well and came in first even with the extra task. I didn't want the father/daughter team to be eliminated. Bad run of luck for them.

And yes...can't wait to see what happens between the two teams highlighted next week.

So glad the Cowboys did well. Would have liked to see some other teams go, but alas, that is the game. It really, really comes down to the cab drivers doesn't it? It seems that, if you have even the slightest doubt about your driver, it is best to take a different one.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat. "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," replied the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

The cowboys did AWESOME!!!

I can't believe Allie wouldn't even try the flagpole detour. I'm not sure how much of that was edited out for television, but it didn't look like she gave it a good ol' college try!

And Brent used the right word this time! I laughed out loud at the tv screen when he slowed his speech down to say it.

Can't wait to see what they (Brent & Caite) have up their sleeves for Carol next week. The scenes show such a sweet look of satisfaction on Caite's face, while the other two are steamed.
