I wish I could Leslie's tapes and dvd's as she goes real fast but it's the kicks I have to watch out for cause that is how I got my runners knee problem in the first place so when I did them this morning I did the little kicks while they were doing the big kicks. Doctors orders.

Found a nice fast paced interval Leslie video on YouTube and did that today. I've also done the express challenge in the past. I did strength training for 30 min. today too.

Yahoo! I won the pot today at my TOPS group for losing the most again. That was 2 weeks in a row now. I feel so happy and proud that the exercise and healthy eating is paying off. I still have a ways to go to get back to where I was last year.

That's cool. I still haven't found my over video-can't figure out how it could have disappeared. The only walking I've done today is through the new At Home store (part of the Garden Ridge group).

I found a couple of great short walking videos on YouTube this morning by Leslie. My son brought me a cable so I can connect my laptop to my TV now and I can find her YouTube workouts and see it on the larger screen. Lot easier to follow for sure. Did a great 1 Mile Express (Super Challenge she calls it) and I did another 1 mile with boosted walking. The second one was using any kind of extra weight; I used my hand weights. Next time I think I'll use the waist band. Both were great workouts. The first one is fast paced, but I was able to keep up. Yahoo! emoticon

Glad we worked in the shelterbelt yesterday as it's raining and freezing on the deck I see. Really can't do much outdoors today. Today's my day off from exercise but will still wear my pedometer to see how many steps I take throughout the day. Have a good one everybody.

Thanks Kerry. I appreciate the support and vote of confidence. I won't weigh myself until Wed. morning before I go weigh in at my support group so we'll see how I did. Just knowing I have that little pot of coins that could be mine keeps me more focused and want to do well. It may sound silly as there's probably like $2 or less in the pot. Best head out and help my hubby now. He's working in the shelterbelt cutting wood on this beautiful day here in SD. Need to take advantage of the lovely weather. Later all.

Oh, forgot to share that I lost 3/4# at my weigh in on Wed. In fact, I was the gal who lost the most. If I lose again next week, I'll get the "fat money." It's just change but it's shooting for something. emoticon

Got my new Ryka walking shoes today in the mail and am wearing them now. Want to walk around the house to see how they feel and fit. Not sure yet. My other ones are completely broken down! The price was pretty good on Amazon so decided to try them. I've had foot surgery a while back so I have to be careful what style and kinds of shoes I buy. Many just don't fit me right. I'm testing these Rykas out this weekend. Time will tell. emoticon

Thank you KERRYG155. I appreciate your feedback. For me, it's not about the number on the scale, but when I have to weigh in each week it needs to be recorded. I'm not shooting for any awards or anything so I'm just happy with the support from the group. They are such a great bunch of gals and I look forward to seeing them each week at our meeting. I'm pleased when my clothes are fitting better and I feel so much better when I eat healthy and stay away from the junk food. I really do like the Leslie DVDs. I have about 12 of them. I love to pick and choose which one I'll do.

Great job on the exercise. Make sure you don't get your hopes up too high as sometimes when the inches go the # on the scale really doesn't change much but it WILL catch up. Keep up the good work.

I'm excited to see how I do on Wed. when I weigh in. I've been doing the HIIT on Wed. Fri., & will do again on Sat. and strength workouts on Tues. & Thurs. Did another Leslie Sansone Walk to the Hits Radio Remixes this morning. I should show a loss as my clothes are feeling much looser.

Thanks for sharing, I try this sometimes when my knee isn't feeling so bad and I do think it gives me more energy. sure it burns more calories.

I did Walk to the Hits this morning with Leslie. It has some great High Intensity Interval Training in it. This DVD was the walking to party songs. Very good! I plan on doing my other one tomorrow which is Radio Remixes. The interval training is great.

Here in Orange Park, Fl, it was cloudy and cool all day and has been for several days and will be again tomorrow. We had our rain yesterday which we really needed.
I did only 10 minutes of walking while I was at the gym between classes. Sure wish I could figure out how to make my feet quit hurting. They just feel like they're broken after walking a bit. One doctor told me it was broken fibers. No fix for that.

Didn't go to the gym this morning as the online calendar said classes were cancelled. I did some cleaning around the house and plan to get to aqua in the morning. I did get the front room cleaned up enough to be able to do videos. Grandkids and their friends can sure mess up the place!

Trackers that keep track of your heart rate will catch that if the heart rate stays elevated. I don't know how the trackers work if they don't read the heart rate-it would only be guess work.

SPATing this AM. Has anyone checked out the 'calorie burn' after exercising thing? I was wondering if there is a way to tell. If some of the trackers keep a count of calories, would they show burning for the 30 minutes after exercising? Just wondering.

I used to wear a BodyBugg and I remember how it helped me to get all the steps/miles I needed. My trainer helped me push it, too. I wore it so much it actually burned my arm which apparently never happened to anyone else. I keep thinking about picking up another tracker of some sort-maybe it would make me move more.

Miss placed my SPAT when changing yesterday and put on a different ped to mark steps. Wasn't quite sure how to add that in. Luckily, I found the SPAT after a little while and put it back on. Funny how I have come to depend on that! Oh, well, have a Sparkling good day!
