Live outside of town so use to have pizza delivered years ago. Now only time I have pizza is by keeping a frozen No Cheese Veggie organic pizza on hand that I may fix once a month. Started doing pre-prepping meals few years back. Favorite is roasting a large pan of on hand veggies weekly. Use them several different way during the week. He's here so am not alone. However, we do our own meals. Cook much healthier which he doesnt like. If I dont eat it, I dont buy or make it. Agree, it is so nice to get someone else's once in a while just to try something different. Most of the sit down restaurants I have researched to find lowest salt meal and if will substitute items. It's a life long changing to go on this healthy journey but feel so much better.

KATHRYNGC, I also have that want something feeling. Now that you can get delivery from just about any restaurant, I peruse the menu and try to find a good option. I've been on my own for 17 years now and sometimes I just have to get someone else's cooking. The best way to skip those places is to do meal prep. There's always something in there that I can heat and eat.

ELFISHER56: Even though I have cut back considerably on drive-thru, I havent stopped completely. Still have trouble fighting desire whenever, I go thru the drive thru strip on way thru town. Guess I could say I am a recovering drive-thru addict. At least now, I make a conscious effort to balance it out on that day.....do an extra walk, make a point no added sugar items, etc.
