Awesome - thanks for the advice! I ordered an inexpensive 2 piece trisuit to kind of get myself adjusted and then see if I need something better or more durable.

I second the tri suit. Right now i have a one piece suit. It's nice that I have good body coverage but it is difficult to use the bathroom when I have it on. I'm going to get a two piece suit when I hit my next goal -- it's my reward emoticon

Just the swim is inside, but it's not until August so it will be plenty warm outside.

Only the swim is indoors? If so, does that mean it is still cold where you are? If so, I would go for swimsuit. You can change out of it and into something dry before hitting the cold outdoors. If not, I would opt for trisuit. You will have faster transition times.

I did a completely indoor tri in Ohio this Feb. and it was a mix. I would say 70% swimsuit and 30% trisuits.

I am doing a sprint triathlon with an indoor swim. Do most people wear their regular swimsuits or do they wear those trisuits? My goal for the swim portion is to not embarrass myself.
