Great Job, Amy! Bricks are tough! But they are so good for you and such good training for doing your first tri. I need to do more of them. Nothing prepares your legs better for the run during a triathlon than practicing the bike/run transition. And you don't need to do a lot of distance off the bike. Even 10 minutes will help train your legs for that transition.

Awe-SOME NewLeaf,

Great job. I biked 7.75 miles today then swam 250 yds. They closed the pool on me. I lost track of time and didn't realize it was getting so late. Only had 5 minutes to swim. LOL

Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels and looks.

I did my very first Brick workout today...45 minute bike, 10 minute run. I know it doesn't sound like much, but for me, this is huge. It's the first time I've taken any tri-training seriously and been consistent! I have been on cloud 9 all day because of it! I just had to put it in writing...kind of documents it...just in case I've set the apocalypse in motion or something... emoticon
