1.What did you wear for the swim?
Two piece

2. What were the cons of what you wore? The only con might be the price. Tri shorts can run $60 or more, and tri sports bras/sports bra style bathing suit tops run $30 or more (comfort, style, price, transition time ect.).

3. What were the pros of what you wore? (comfort, style, price, transition time ect.). Comfort is definitely a pro. Nothing chafed, it dried quickly, and wicked moisture well.

4. Are you interested in any other swimwear other than what you have already worn? I recently bought a one piece tri suit and have used it for run-swim workouts. I would definitely use it in a triathlon.

5. Why (Follow-up to question 4). The one piece tri suit is very comfortable, dries fast, and wicks away sweat well. It also has a couple of pockets which would be good for stashing a gel.

6. Are there any other suggestions or comments you can provide concerning Triathlon swimwear?
A. Wear something comfortable. There's nothing worse than having something too tight, too lose or chafing.
B. Wear bottoms that have a padded chamois, but don't wear cycling shorts. Cycling shorts don't dry quickly and you'll wind up chafing.
C. Make sure that whatever bra top you have won't chafe on the run. The top will be wet from the swim and your sweat, so be mindful of that.
D. If you're busty, make sure you have enough support on top. Wearing 2 sports bra style tops will help, but make sure they both are quick drying and sweat wicking.
E. Always try out your race day outfit in training. You don't want any surprises!

wicking sports bra with a tri bra over that and my tri top over that, trishorts (no undies)

a little chafing before I got in the water (none once the race started)

3. What were the pros of what you wore? (comfort, style, price, transition time ect.)
comfortable and my breasts don't bounce while running. works for all 3 events

No

I've worked out my gear.

use lots of BodyGlide at the edges of your wetsuit to prevent chafing.

I am doing my first triathlon in 3 weeks and I am experimenting with what I should wear for the swim that will be the most comfortable throughout all three events. Since I am so interested in this subject I am also doing an analytic report for my English class comparing the different triathlon swimwear options. Please copy and paste the following questions and answer them in your response. I really need your help emoticon

1.What did you wear for the swim?
One piece (swimsuit)
Two piece (Bra top, briefs, or trishorts)
Trisuit (with or without bra top)

2. What were the cons of what you wore? (comfort, style, price, transition time ect.)
