You should be okay, especially since they are sprints. I am in a similar boat. I have an Oly distance, and then a sprint the following week. I think you should take 1-2 days off after your race, a few easy swims, and an easy bike and maybe 1-2 easy runs. I wouldn't do any speed work that week, since your races will be your speed workouts! Just try to stay loose, and try to relax and have fun.
One year I did 3 races in 3 weekends (they were all local races that I really liked, all within 30 minutes of my house). I swore I would never do that again. By the 3rd race, i had nothing left! But i did the same 2 races last year, and 2 was manageable.
Let us know how they go.

Wow! You're amazing taking on two in two weeks, but I think it's doable. I agree with CDNTRIGIRL that your plan looks good. The best part of the plan, however, is rest, but a few easy, short workouts will keep you loose and remind your body what's coming up.

I try not to do my races a week apart either!! I think you're in between week looks pretty good. This would normally be a taper and now a rest week because of your last sprint. I think what you have suggested looks reasonable as long as you are doing at about 60 - 70% of your abilities. i.e. Don't push too hard.

Take care, enjoy those races. All the best, J.

I have two sprint-distance triathlons coming up and they are one week apart. I've done them two weeks apart before, but never one week. I am trying to figure out what workouts I should do during that week, realizing that largely it needs to be rest. I was thinking one bike ride mid-week, one 30 minute run, and maybe 2 short swims. I would appreciate anyone's experienced assistance!! I certainly don't want to overdo!
