Thanks.... This is the 2nd round of illness I've had in as many months. Good grief. I'll be optimistic and believe by next weekend I can do something. If not sooner. :D

Have a great Sunday!

Hope you are feeling better soon, I hate to hear you are down. As you recover I think you will be back to your same level quickly, the rule is you start to lose your base after 2 weeks, but comes back as fast. you should be fine.

its sounds like you have a pretty good base, i am thinking now that you are on meds you will perk up pretty soon.
start out easy, maybe do some run/walks and see how your lungs handle it. i think you will be back up to speed in time for your next sprint. 7 weeks is a long time.
now get well!

My training has been on hiatus since last Monday (after doing a 10K race Sunday) when the last thing I did was a long, hard swim. That afternoon, the dry cough I've had for two weeks suddenly became worse. Doc thinks it's bronchitis, but could have been the start on pneumonia. On antibiotics and Advair. I think it's viral...Now it's moving up to sinuses as well!

Anyway... my question is.... How long do you think it takes to lose everything? No running for a week! I was up to an 8 mile long run with short to medium on other days. No bike or swim either. I'm 7 weeks out from next sprint triathlon, 11 weeks to Olympic Tri. :(
