Dee is really struggling with the loss of her brother and wanted me to share with all of you her feelings right now. I received a very nice email and I will put what she wrote in here for you:
People who have known me on Spark for a while know that I lost my husband July 24, 2008, and my brother was helping me through my grief after losing him. Now I am without my little brother. He died unexpectedly some time between Sat. afternoon and night. His wife was out the entire day and didn't return home till going on 10pm, so we don't know exactly what time he passed. He was only 56, and wasn't overweight. He had been at a ham radio fest earlier in the day and had returned home around 2:15pm to rest and be with his "babies" (rescue dogs). She found him in his ham radio room, reclining in his chair. I'm hoping he died peacefully in his sleep. The blood work showed heart failure, so I'm just hoping he had the heart attack while sleeping. (I'm typing this as though it's all a dream and that he'll call me tomorrow so that we can go out. I'm in a fog.) You can pass the details onto everyone at Spark, because I don't think I'm ready to type it on the message boards.
Keep Dee in your prayers and offer her your support as she could really use that right now. God bless all of you.
