I've owned many pedometers cheap & expensive ones...I find them to be not accurate. So I got in my car and figured out the miles in my walks by using my odometer.

I used to wear my pedometer all the time, but my I tend to walk in time increments more. I say just 1 more minutes, o now 10 more etc so it just seems to stay home. I have such a hard time setting the stride on them anyway.

Sometimes... I typically hit more than 15000 a day. If I walk or have shopping and errands will be 22000 or more. Sometimes it gets in the way. The clip does not hold it securely with out the tether... By the time I have that and my name tag clipped on and my phone in my pocket, It is kinda a pain....

No, the ones I've tried in the past were "junky" and I'm just not into walking much anymore.

I do, however, wear my heart rate monitor when I workout or do the little bit of walking that I do.

No. I stopped trying to use it after 2 consecutive failed attempts. Just couldn't get it to work accurately. I could take 30 steps and it would show I took 6! I gave up and time my walking now.

Yes, I started wearing it because I realized that my hour of cardio wasn't as effective because I wasn't moving as much the rest of the day. Now I challenge myself to get between 10,000 and 20,000 steps a day.
