I had 30 minutes (a little more) of me time when I went and had a work out. Also the receptionist at work tried to make me feel guilty about going to the meeting yesterday ( i cover her lunch) she wanted to wash her car at 11:30 when my meeting is. i said no. I was very proud of me

My day job is asking extra time of us for the next couple of weeks. I'll do what I can, but I'm not staying up late at night to do it. I once would have. I'm putting me first. Y'all ... I'm soooooo proud of me!!!!!! emoticon

I get me time each morning. I get up early, about an hour earlier than I need to, and have my morning coffee with spark and then I get in my morning exercise. I think that is my favorite time of the day.

I need to do better at this. I do make sure to get in an hour of cardio most days and also my WW meetings on Wed:) But I know I need time to just relax too - read, work on a crossword puzzle, etc. I stay busy and neglect that "quiet time" for myself.

I am looking forward to warmer weather and being able to take my coffee out to the porch. I do always enjoy that.

My me time is making time for my Weight Watchers meeting and time to exercise most every day.

I'm learning this time around to make time for me.

I use work 7 days a week and no time for me. Now I chose only work 6 days a week giving me time for me.

It shows on my family because I am so much hapier.

One step at a time!

My W8W meeting on Tuesday night is my ME time. I will not miss unless there is illness or I'm out of town and can't get to another meeting.

Now that my kids are a bit older, I do make me time, dates with girlfriends for night out or dinner. My little bit of me time almost daily is my exercise time, they are big enough to understand not to bother Mommy when she is exercising (almost anything can wait 40 minutes)

Me time is very important to me and my well being. I do my Zumba, exercise and swimming. I hang with positive minded people who are upbeat and energetic with which we do lunch and do girls day out. I schedule massages and facials monthly, whick I love. Life is good!!

Since I'm retired, my husband still works and my kids are grown/away from home, I can take "me time" most of the day! Of course, I still have household stuff to do, but it's on my schedule now!

Eventually, this will probably change if I start working somewhere part-time, but for now, I'm enjoying every minute I can.

I go to the gym every day after work, even though it means my son spends and extra 45 minutes in day care. Part of me hates leaving him there a little longer, but I am so much of a better mom if I can get in those 45 minutes every day!

I've got this.

I learned a long time ago to allow myself "me time". When my children were small I started taking time afer dinner-taking an art class, running, walking etc. This small time "away" helped me to relax and refocus. My husband always was very encouraging and never let me feel guilty. Looking back I think this "me time" made me a better mom, wife, and employee. Now that my children are young adults I still make time for me. I work full-time and generally everyday I take at least an hour to exercise.

I have lots of me time now, but when my husband was sick, prior to his death, there was little time for me. My WW meeting, however, was sacred. He hated to see me go (I have to go 30 mil), but he understood the need. He was so dependent on me, that he prayed for my safe return every time I went, but thank goodness he understood my need to go.

I need to work on giving me "ME TIME" - I tend to say - I'll just take care of this or that and then something else comes up...

So, now that you bring it up, I am going to work on doing something for ME daily - even if it's just for 15-30 minutes - after a few weeks it will become a habit...

Cathy emoticon for this idea.... emoticon

I rarely get any "Me Time" but I'm trying to get some time in for that. My WW meetings, when I get to stay for the meeting and not just weigh in, are some me time. I really need to schedule in more than that.

I have to get up early to get mine in too. At least the exercise portion of it.

I'm single again, but still struggle with the "me time" ... I have a full-time job, a part-time job and 2 puppies. Man alive are there lots of folks clamoring for a piece of me!

My "Me Time" is getting up really early in the mornings, say around 3:15 a.m. while Bob is still sleeping. Same deal is when he goes to bed, I have that time as well. The two days a week that no one is going to get in my way is the two Weight Watchers meetings I take in, one on Thursday morning where I weigh in, the other one on Saturday morning where I socialize.

My "me time" is after my 5 yr old gets on the school bus and the twins go down for their morning nap. I have a quiet 2.5 hours to do whatever I want. Sometimes I take a long hot shower or bubble bath, sometimes I use the time to read emails and catch up with friends. Other times I grab a good book and spend the morning with a cup of coffee. No matter what I do, I need that time to do whatever I want, not housework. I feel like I can get anything done as long as I have my "me time"

Many of you know that I went to a training seminar this weekend for Weight Watchers. One of the things we talked about was "Me First!" So let me ask you ... How are YOU getting your "Me" time in? Or are you? How does it change your day when you do?

Answer one or all of those questions, but let's talk about it! Me time is really important!

Cathy
