Kelly~I think most of the trees are around $30 or so. Honestly we haven't shopped lots for a tree in years so I'm not sure! GET TO CURVES!!!

Janet, I like Boise better!!! and your craft fair is indoors!! Nice! How much do the imported trees from Oregon go for? Around here they are all local, fresh cut from as close as the neighbors....for about $30. I begged the kids to go for one, but they insisted on dragging "ole scruff" out of the attic!
YOU GO GIRL!!!! Way to work out! I'm jealous!!! Heading to Curves now, Tim brought home hot wings....he's NO help!!

wow, it really worked. I never even knew we had that site. Funny how I look at the pics and think "where's that"...and the young Dr. Mc Hottie??? or the naked cowboy draped in newspaper? pretty sure I NEVER saw him in town! (not really sure what he is suposed to be, but I bet younz were looking for him!! haha.) Tonight starts the ice fetival and if the kids aren't too nuts, I will take them up. They put about a 3' tall sculpture on the walk near the business entrances and a few giant ones to sit on and take pics...kids end up with frozen wet butts! One of those things that only sounds like a neat thing, not pratical! The carriage rides are at mock 3 speed through town, to get the lines managed, but not really enjoyable- wind burn, sore arms from hangin' on for dear life!!!......see, I just don't have the knack that Janet does to make it all sound great! But ice festival is only a small part, i'll try to do better!

Kelly~Fun idea! I'm going to have look deeper into the Ice Festival! Sounds simply chilling..... Sending some hot cocoa your way!

Got the treadmill accomplished and will head to the gym after dinner. Feels VERY odd planning to exercise two different times in one day.

Heather~Oh my gosh you've had a day!!!!! Just big hugs on everything from doctors to stress eating.

Things have been fairly smooth here today and then Isaac chooses to not leave the male hound alone and he goes after him. Didn't hurt him, but one of these days he'll draw blood. Can't get Isaac to believe that he causes it and this is a dogs way of saying, "Enough!"

Going to walk this afternoon for sure....feeling stressed for some reason and I can't place my finger on it as everything appears to be okay. Maybe it's just the hormones since I started the estrogen yesterday.

Well Matt and I had a very enjoyable day yesterday. We visited three small towns. Two of them on an island. We ate in each town which did nothing good for my tracking but was still lots of fun. Had an early start with TOM which started the day on a sour note for me. It took me till the coffee/cake stop to get out of my funk. I'm just sooo tired when I start and the cramps were uncomfortable.

This morning Joe came in around 5 wanting to tell me about yesterday in the after school care. I told him he had to wait until 6, not realizing what he wanted to say. Turns out he ran to meet Gretchen who picked him up. He tripped on a tree root and fell. He bent back his finger. When I finally got the sleep out of my eyes I saw the swollen, black and blue finger and hand. Knew it was broken.

Nick has an ingrown toenail that has been bothering him. I told Matt that before he left for a long weekend he needed to take care of it. When he lifted it up a little this morning, puss came out.

Okay, that meant two doctor's visits, plus the dentist visit for Joe that was already scheduled. In addition to having to wait to get Matt to the train station for his trip.

Needless to say, I'm exhausted. By the time I got Nick to the ped. and she said she wanted him to go to the dr. that I had just spent several hours at for Joe's hand I almost wanted to cry. We are going back to that dr. tomorrow to check the cast and have him look at Nick's toe. Then we have to race across town to the previously scheduled eye appt. for Joe. Saturday can't come soon enough.

Matt is gone until Monday to the Czech Republic. What did I do when I stopped at the store for milk? Bought junk and proceeded to eat it. I guess that shows how I deal with stress.

Thanks for hanging in there with the ramblings.

Janet, please don't worry about a trip in December. i thought it might just be nice to stay around home for the holidays.

Hope you all had a better Friday!

Kelly - I think you are suppose to pick a team that you want on - any one that doesn't gets divided among the teams - I believe that is how it works. Please do not eat the kids - I do not think that would turn out well. I ahve been struggling over weight and exercise lately - it just seems life is speeding up and I am hanging on for dear life.

Janet - so understanable that you did not get a destination picked out - I did not even think of it until you metioned it - lol- the month sure did fly by. I am very jelouse that you are so close to being done with Christmas shopping.

Pat - what a month. I hate when the stomach bug hits - I sure hope it misses us this year. Somehow we got around it last year - first time in a long time.

Christina - know what you mean about life getting so hectic - I am there with you. Help!! glad you have the "Joy" back.

Last weeks defeat is a gateway to many victories.

Lord - grant me the Serenity to accept the things I can not change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.

I don't know WHAT is wrong with me....I was doing well and all the sudden I realize i'm NOT doing well! URGH So I need to check in here more for accountability, DO my quickfires everyday and full commit to the winter challenge...I must have got the BOOT off A Team, I guess. Still not sure how it all works....I just know I'm HATING food! It is my ENEMY and its trying to sneak into my "good zone" and destroy me. I need to get pics of war/milatary attack/swat and declare the 'Battle is ON"....

OMGOODNESS Christmas shopping! I can't even think about it without feeling anxiety right now:) I have started, but still have so much to do! After this weekend I will focus on the last of the families from the mssion, then my kids.

Pat I have a friend that adopted 5 children under the age of 5. Last night she said one started with the stumach bug. I feel for you guys! Once it gets started it is hard to keep the others from cathching it. We do isolation around here. I keep the sick in one area of the house and no one else is allowed in that area except me. Boys are terrible about proper hand washing!

Janet I bought Christmas cards, but haven't opened the box! LOL Not sure I will. I am so excited that you are sticking with your gym routine! I have not had reall exercise time in a couple weeks, besides our hiking adventure. I will get back at it soon. This week there is just no time left in my days. I am even getting up at 5:30am.

Kelly I did find some good bargins yesterday! I went in Walgreens for something and came out with a bunch of toys! They are having a huge sale. Never thought about shopping there for toys before.

We did get our tree decorated, and actually put some lights outside, mostly for Ben (we live down a long gravel drive surronded by cow pasture)He insisted we needed lights on our house. He and I ran in the mall yesterday before school and Santa was there with no line so I let him get his picture taken and sit with santa. He ask for a new drum set and another skateboard. and "my brother Matt would like some new arrows for his bow" Santa laughed! (Ben has MANY skateboards and a drum set already, what do I do!) He is so excited about Christmas this year. He carries around a plastic nativity set to play with. This is the first year I have been excited n a long time. In the last few years I have just dreaded it. I am praising God for my renewed JOY!

I have to clean and bake, Gary's mens bible study meets here tonight.

Thanks ladies. I knew you'd understand!

Pat~From Pox to stomach bugs. Ugh! I'm sure you're glad that is all behind you.

Christina~I don't know that Kelly had a choice regarding the A-Team for some reason. She got an invite to the Butterflies. Hang in there with your weekend event!!

Bible study was good tonight and I enjoyed the getaway from the house. Tomorrow night I'll head to the gym while the family is at Taekwondo and then stop at Target to do some stocking stuffer shopping for Maegann. That's all I have left other than the gift for Tim from the kids and myself. Nice having this much done! Now...will I ever get to a Christmas letter? Hmmmmm

Chicken Pox are gone, but they weren't completely gone before a nasty stomach bug bit some of the kids. They are troopers, and are all well now. What a November!

So busy here. There. Everywhere!

Janet, don't worry about travel in December, I'm sure we all have enough on our plates. Reality rules! You are doing a great job! Hang in there!

Blessings,

Almost time to head out for church so wanted to stop in and say I totally have not had time to prepare a virtual destination for us in December. Being gone that week for Thanksgiving threw me behind in several areas so I'm having to pick the priorities. I'd like to think our virtual vacations are a priority, but unfortunately reality is winning right now. LOL

The pills that I got are estrogen but since things are stopping I'll give them a go as this is just tiring.

Hope to be back later to do some Sparking. Need to do my tracking at least!

Hi girls....Buenos Dias....is that good day in Spanish?? Hope so! Maybe I should learn a little more before I go around offending anyone!
Heather..... emoticon Happy ANiv! I'm flying over there for those Mutzan? anything with powered sugar sounds great! I bet you will have a grand time! 20 years - Congrats, I've only been married half of that. I feel bad for you with sick kids...I'm so thankful my kids aren't "stomach-ers" and they only come to my room in the mornings to get me up and then I tell them to lay down a little bit with me while my body "wakes up". Liv crawls on my head and squeezes my eyebrows together...Chaz usually nearly strangles me with his toy snakes and finally when I'm all jungle gymed out, I roll out of bed! They are like ants on a sugar pyle so I know they won't just go away!

Dorothy~Have fun bowling tonight!!!!

Cynedra~You can definitely tell within a week or two once changing the diet. Food cycles out every 3 days so once you have him off for a week, or even two, you should see a difference. With Isaac we kept him "clean" for a couple weeks and then gave him gluten and we could easily tell what behavior it was causing (very hyper) and could see the crash when it was out of his system. With Isaac we can tell he's had gluten within a couple of hours and it lasts anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on how much was consumed. We see it like a drug high with him....just over the top happy and then a definite crash which is never pleasant. Would be interesting to see what you notice if anything! There are so many little things that contain gluten you have to really be careful. On the other subject... I did phone the physician's assistant yesterday and she has prescribed a hormone (2 pills) that will stop the spotting. Will get that this afternoon from the pharmacy. She said that it usually takes 2-3 shots before everything levels out. I have my next shot on the 4th. Thanks for the info!!

I finally got in touch with the trainer this morning and we agreed on 1 hour on Friday's with the option to change to twice a week if I find I'm not getting to the gym 2-3 other times. I know I can make two others and if I do some stuff at home or the third day I'm good with that. Tomorrow I'll go while the family is at Taekwondo and then I meet the trainer Friday afternoon. I will walk on the treadmill at home today.

Has been a much better morning with Isaac and he has done well getting two days worth of schoolwork finished. Maybe that's the new plan on co-op weeks with him. Wait until Wednesday and double up.

Tonight is Bible study so I'll work on my lesson after I walk on the treadmill.

I spent time yesterday and this morning getting the calendar updated and making a few appointments that were needed for dad and Maegann. Liking that there is a lot of free time during December and it isn't just stacked so full it will be tiring. Feels good knowing that! The only event I need to schedule for Christmas is a night to go see the lights at the Botanical Garden. Going to make it a girls night with SP friend Beth and her daughter(s). Should be fun.

Thanks all for your input and support - you are all the best. Michael is 11 nad my hubby is only active with him when it suits him. Although with me working two jobs it is up to him to get him to most of his activities. He use to crawl into bed with me - finally stopped about 2 years ago - I miss it. The girls use to crawl into bed with me too!! Bowling tonight!!

Heather - I did have a birthday. S is doing a lot better. And one or both of my boys regularly crawl into our bed in the middle of the night. Sometimes I take them back to their bed but most of the time, I'd just rather sleep. Sometimes I leave them there with DH and go get in their bed. I know it supposedly isn't proper, but I am sure that at some point, they will grow out of it. Meanwhile, my aging body gets more sleep than if I fought them about it.

Janet - Call the doctor ASAP. My great niece had the shot and continued to bleed and ended up in the hospital because of it. Don't wait too long. Also, if I recall correctly, you have Issac gluten free? How long did it take at gluten free to make a difference. The one time I read about it, it said something like 3 months. But when they write they have to CYA. I might consider trying it with L if I thought I could tell within a week or two. I could get DH on board for that long, but not three months without knowing. His teacher forgot about the red dye thing yesterday and gave him red m&ms, so we had a wonderful afternoon and evening.

Dorothy - I told my DH about your DH's comment and he was a bit peeved himself. Children are not mini-replicas of ourselves - usually, although sometimes it sure seems like it. How old is your son? It may be that there is plenty of time for that. For example, my second oldest brother was Mr. Baseball growing up, his son danced in the outfield, picked flowers, and quit after his first year playing. Now, years later, they both do fantasy baseball, and my nephew has even won some sort of prize for it.

Oh well, I wanted to speak more, but I have tons to do today before I have to pick up S from school.

My Goals: 10% at a time.

Dorothy~So hoping your daughter is pregnant!!!! I'll try to remember to get a photo of the railing.

Argentina for Wednesday: Monumental Tower

San Martín y Av. Libertador. This tower is located in the center of the Plaza Britannia renamed Plaza Aeronáutica Argentina. It was built by British residents in commemoration of the centennial of the Revolution of May and was inaugurated on May 24, 1916. The company in charge of its construction was "Hopkins & Gardom" and everything except for the sand and the water, was brought from England. On its main door, it reads "al gran pueblo argentino, los residentes Británicos, cheers, 25 de mayo 1810-1910" (To the great Argentine people, the British residents, health, May 25 1810-1910"). The tower changed its name from "Torre de los Ingleses" (The British Tower) to “Torre Monumental” (Monumental Tower) after the Falklands war in 1982, but people still refer to it as the Torre de los Ingleses.

I think I am on the A Team Again - i will have to check. Funny thing is that the whole remark was over hunting and hubby has not even been out out yet becasue it has been raining. Son wanted to go and he has not been out. My Son In law is staying at our camp and I think he has been out. I think his wife - my daughters is preggie - I should know more by the end of the week.

Kelly - know the feeling of the buck - one time when hubby got a big one he took it all over the lace showuing it off - they are so funny.

Janet - definately call the Dr. You will ahve to post some pictures of the banisters.

Heather - Happy Anniversary - enjoy your special night.

Christina - I definately do not take as many pictures as I use to - it is hard. I never thought to have that checked - might be worth it!!

Have a great night ladies.

Kelly~Did you sign up for the Butterflies? I hope so!!!

Got the last of the leaves done that I'm going to and it took about 90 minutes. More than I thought left out front!

Had a call from the trainer so I need to get my decision made regarding 1x/week for an hour or 2x/week for 30 min. I'm sure either would work but I guess I'm used to our hour sessions that I can't see how 30 min. would be enough. I'll call her back and see which she thinks would do the best for me. It's about the same amount of money either way. I know she wants me down there 3x/week at least so two would get me to that goal quicker too.

Looking forward to Loser tonight. It's makeover night!!

Heather~Happy Anniversary!!!! Your day out together sounds like it will be a good one! Enjoy!

Trying to get the kids out of bed today. Hoping to get some school done and then head to the library. All the books are due back.

Need to get in touch with the trainer and get that lined out. My exercise today will be getting the leaves finished and walking on the treadmill.

Good Tuesday Morning Ladies,

Cynedra - Did you have a birthday??? My 7 yo is also having a hard time sleeping through the night. Saturday we were up at 2 am with him throwing up and then last night with bad dreams. I'm thinking about making him up a bed on the floor in our room. At least then I'd get sleep. Sick kids on the Holidays are no fun.

Christina - So happy for you guys. Sounds like a great vacation. Adventures like those on the return trip are things that make the memories even better. It looked like there were lots of hiking paths to choose from.

Janet - loved the pictures. That's a big tree. I was wondering when coop stopped for the holidays.

Doro - emoticon Our oldest is very different from dh and that often causes conflicts and misunderstandings.

I've been doing great again with exercise but my sweet and salty snack tooth is out of control.
emoticon

Tomorrow, dh and I are celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Looking forward to spending the day and evening together. But today will be preparing to be gone. A young gal (early 20s) from our church will be coming to stay with the kids for the afternoon. She will sleep over so we can come home as late as we want.

The Christmas Market has opened downtown. There are all the food booths, lots of booths with handmade gifts like nutcrackers and candle pyramids, as well as rides. My favorite treat are Mutzen. They are small donut like squares with powdered sugar. They are served in a paper cone and you eat them with long toothpicks. Everybody gets powdered sugar on the jackets but oh, so good.

Yes....join the Butterflies!!!! Heather's on that team as well.

And yes...not supposed to get a "visit" any longer. I asked about that being healthy and he assured me it wasn't an issue at all and for where I am in the cycle of life...not a big deal as they are pretty much gone anyway.

Off to watch the Sing Off! See you tomorrow!

I hear you! I switched to the shot when the BControl pills weren't being consistent. He gave me the option of a different pill or trying the shot. Since my cycles were so insignificant anymore and not what you would call short or predictable he felt this was fine to go with "no more" and check with labwork once a year to see where my hormone levels were for menopause. So did I! I love the idea of NO MORE! emoticon

I know I might sound like a commercial...."did you ask your doctor if the shot is right for you"...always thought that was funny when they say that...I would LOVE to think my dr wouldn't perscribe it if it wasn't right for me, but the way our modern medicine is going...It may be a good time to explore options and see what he thinks, but you know your body best!!

Hi girls...OK, did I chase younz away? come back....am I the only non busy mom? I spent forever on a photo book that wouldn't save...and lost it. I logged on here and what do I see??? Kodak, 50% off advertisement....and I cant even throw anything at it!! Haha. They did send me a $10 credit. I asked for 20. never hurts to ask!
Janet any amount of spotting would be annoying. How long have you been on the shots? I never did those...Tim took care of business (happy b-day to himself, when he turned 50...made his own appt and acted like he was going on a cruise...loved the valium, cute nurse and bragged about scheduling his 25 e.... lab check in a month!!) Told him he better get a girlfriend if he planned on keeping that appt...we never did bother to get checked. Figured if we were meant to be a ODD BALL (no pun intended) then God must be telling us something. Hoping they can get things regulated better for you....you dont have time to be slowed down with drippage. LOL Keep up the good work at the gym...I LOVE hearing about your fitness minutes racking up!

Hi ladies! Finally digging out from all the stuff of life so I can Spark a little!

Co-op went well today and I actually got a really good workout in! I made the music class work (age 4 to grade 2) and they were tired when they left after 50 minutes of non-stop singing and actions. I had to sub for the "real" teacher so I took all my old kids worship stuff I used for so many years at church and went to it. They loved the hand instruments to march with around the room. I was already feeling a bit into a cardio zone when I left (Joy from Head to Toe is fast and lots of moving up and down) and was greeted by SP friend Beth with a sweet, "Are you ready to walk?" I put a few things away and off we went. We got a mile in this time even with a couple small rain showers happening. I did get the info emailed out that I needed to and went through a few other little things that have to be done now for 3rd session so now I can put it all away for several weeks. Leader meeting on the 20th is the next thing. I do need the break.

Once home I got the pumpkins cleaned and in the oven for dinner. They were actually really good with a little butter and brown sugar! While those baked and the kids watched "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" I got the garland and lights done on the railing. We'll see how the houndies do with that!

Isaac is still not great from his cold but he did go to co-op. This morning I think he was rested enough that the cold medicine could mask things fairly well. By afternoon he was coughing horribly, complaining of a sore throat and the nose just keeps on running. He was not allowed to go to Taekwondo tonight. I had him hunting library books that are due and mostly spent time drawing.

I'm thinking I will phone the OBGYN office tomorrow as I began spotting about 9 days ago and it hasn't stopped. Just nuisance quantities! This is why I went in again in October as the same thing happened. I'm wondering if I need my next shot sooner than next week to take care of it as I shouldn't be having anything now. It makes me irritable at times...especially when it drags on so long.

Dorothy~Has your hubby ever had his testosterone level checked? I'm serious!! This is a "menopausal" thing for men about the same time. Has a name but I can't remember that! We learned about it when Tim went in for lack of energy and some depression. He was really low.

Kelly~Good to see you tonight. We've missed you!

Christina~You've got a busy week/weekend coming up with the youth function. Have fun!

Pat~Guessing all the chicken pox have left the building. Hope all is well with you.

Okay.... Argentina for Tuesday: Palais de Glace

The 'Palace de Glace' of French influence was constructed for the sole purpose of practicing ice skating. With time, this place started welcoming tango dancers, an idea that did not go down well with the elite crowd. When Baron de Marhi organized a celebration in his gallery to approve the dance, this form of art gained acceptance in the high Buenosarian society. Thus it started growing in prestige until in 1932 it became a museum and hall for exhibitions of matchless reputation with the presence of artists such as Perez Célis. Its dance floor is surrounded by theatre boxes and a confectionary and bar!

Doro...my neighbor boys are 15 months apart in age, 14 & 15. They are as opposite as 2 people could be, physically and everything. One is just like his dad, the other just like his mom. C is a light haired, fair complexion teen heart throb type- cooks, sews, does puppetry mission trips and very intune to talking AND listening to girls....he tried to teach me to scrap once. He rode his bike over with a "suitcase" of supplies. I had nothing, he was annoyed and told me to call him when I got more organized emoticon .....the other one is the dark/hairy hunter athlete and doesn't speak full sentences. If he answers the phone, you can bet nobody will ever get the message. The Dad has some difficulty "bonding" with the artsy one and I've got upset with Tim for saying neg comments about hoping Chaz doesnt act like C. Of course my answer is "then you better start spending more time with him NOW". Me and Mom, my aunt and all my friends are GIRLS...so, the kids get very little 'man" interaction. Honestly I think sometimes the man PMS makes them act like neandrathals and they forget they are the ADULT. and when they act like idiots, why would they WANT the boy to be like them?? LOL Is M the only child m has? You deserve a emoticon fo NOT flipping out over it and keeping your cool inspite of your emotions. Good to know you are the one who can use your mind and mouth simultaneously...and know when NOT to open your mouth. Afraid I'm with Christina on the "grow up"...kids need to feel accepted for who they are. (so they don't end up being....) didn't want to type "like their faulted fathers" . Praying he can oversee the difference and find a way to bond for M's sake....and that he would want to be closer to his son no matter what. Funny how I thought cancer patients all have a will to be the best person they can be for the remainder of time they have. Maybe the meds/pain depression are working on him, but you are right.....rise above, hit the gym!!

whew...I"m sweating!!! Trying to do marathon post reading. i couldn't wait to read everything...You all make me laugh so much!..it's fun to just read it all, like a novel with real people I care about!!
1st off, glad you are all home safe and sound and had good times! Deer Lonely ladies day has been anything BUT lonely. Kids were up early, must have heard Tim going out-ugh, I was up too late watching Lifetime movies...yyyaaawwwnn! Tim got a 7pt this am and Chaz went bongo...so we all had to don our orange and load up on the 4 wheeler to go drag it home. That sounds like a cave-family adventure, minus the 4 wheeler! Tim and Chaz are gutting/skinning/gross stuff and Liv and I came into scrape the mud out of our teeth. Not sure when I will learn NOT to ride with tim when he's in hot pursuit of claiming his KILL! Of course all the neighbors gather and people from afar...its like the nativity: a dead buck. lights in the sky, the angelic voice, and hunters follow the "smell" to see the chosen one...bizarre really. Now I have to make my MAN lunch. He will probaly want SPAM, or some other "man" food. I've been informed he was too busy hunting to drink his hot chocolate or eat his wide assortment of candy bars!

Hubby did not even go hunting today because it is raining - and that was what the comment was all about. He has some major issues but I can not let him drag me down.

Christina - glad you had a wonderful vacation - sounds like you really needed it.

Cyndrea - sorry you have a sick one - that is always a bummer.

Janet - sounds like you need a break if you are ready for it. Hope Issacc is feeling better.

I finally made it home! It was an interesting day! We went to turn in our house keys this am and the wind was extreme! It blew a tree over on electric lines and across our road. So we were delayed an hour there. Then the traffic was unbelievable. LOL I said this is QUANITY family time rather than quality emoticon We had a GREAT vacation! It really felt like a vacation. We seem to be on the go all the time but this week we really relaxed and just did what we wanted. It was nice to have the time with Gary's mom and sis and my mom, stepdad and granny too! Gary sister had here frst Chemo treatment. She said she is not feeling too bad just really tired.

Cyn we could have hiked together! sorry you have a sick little one.

Kelly where are you hiding!? are you still shopping?

Glad we're all surviving the Thanksgiving holiday without too many blips.

Cynedra~You are right that it would have been a horrible time having a sick one in the hotel!

Dorothy~That's a hard one. Interesting that the hubby thinks the child should have the same interests. We're all such unique individuals! Hugs on the stress that caused you.

We did manage to get the Christmas tree up and decorated along with a few other decorations. I'll tackle the railing on Tuesday and we'll see if it will work with the hounds. Haven't had it up for about 5 years but most of the red items have already been chewed off by a previous hound dog. LOL

Tomorrow is our last day of co-op until Jan. 9th and I for one am ready for the break. Isaac's not happy that he probably won't be going thanks to the cough and runny nose he's dealing with thanks to the cold that arrived on Wed/Thur.

Hi all - I tried to post yesterday, but just as I was finishing typing, S decided he wanted to use the computer so he took the mouse and closed up the browser. I was not happy and turned off the computer. We are still working on the floor, didn't get it completely finished for Thanksgiving, but we will. No Christmas decorations are going up until it is completely done. S was sick most of the week. but is doing a lot better now.

My family all got back from Pigeon Forge safe and sound. The went to Cades Cove on Thanksgiving day after their dinner. Some went to Dollywood on Friday, others went hiking. I would have love to go hiking, but super glad we didn't go, because it would have been (a very naughty word) to have S in a hotel room miles and miles from home with his 102 temperature.

DH had to work yesterday (overtime). The extra money will be nice, but he was gone from 2-10 which was sad as I wanted to celebrate getting older, which, of course, beats the alternative.

Off to get ready for bed. It is early, but S was having night terrors or something last night. Therefore, I didn't sleep well.

My Goals: 10% at a time.

Dorothy that would be hard to hear! Gary gets frustrated at times with one of our boys that is very different from him. Gary feels like our son doesn't like him. I usually tell him to grow up! It is our job as parents to love our kids not worry about how they feel about us! I hope Michael doesn't get that feeling from his dad. How is his depression?

Christina - Walmart lines were not too bad - must have had enough cashiers for a change. When I waked through the store I had lots of people stopping me and asking for help. And I know when I have bought certain things you can never find help. I think they really need more people out on the floor.

Janet - so glad you made it home safely. I did 3 loads of laundry \when I got home from Buffalo and it was only Michael and me. Of course hubby and uncle had been here. Plus I have to wash everything becasue there is so much dog hair in my daughters homes. I really don't get it because I have two dogs but they seem to have so much more.

OK girls - I have a delimma. I was so very angry last night when talking to hubby. He said to me - "I must have misfired" when talking about our son becasue he does not have the same intersts as him. I was ready to pack up and leave. - I was that mad. I didn't say anything - I just left as I had to go to my moms house. But now that I am calmed down I am still angry but not on the verge of leaving. How do you get through such a thick head. He is not like his father - does that mean his father misfired. How can people be so ignorant. I just need a good way to respond without loosing it. Good grief - I have 4 daughters and I would say not one of them is just like me. Thnaks for letting me blow off steam.

On a happier not - I should know some time this week weather my daighter is pregnant or not - so excited.

I see everyone is making it back safely! We plan to leave here by 11:00. then a bit of shopping in Pigeon Forge as we head home. They have big outlet malls there. I have just a couple stores I want to look in:)

Yesterday we hiked to Rainbow Falls. It was 5.6 mile moderate hike. We came back ate and got cleaned up then went down to the "tourist trap, shopping strip" for the boys. It is like a board walk on the beach. Lots of tshirt stores and junk. The boys LOVED it! LOL They loved looking at the knives and air soft guns, ninja stars and swords...

Janet I am looking forward to getting up some decorations this year! Last year I wasn't into it at all.

Kelly are you still shopping?

Dorothy I bet it was CRAZY at Walmart!

We are about 4 hours from home. Making really good time today. I will have time to get groceries and get the outside Christmas lights in place. We plan to watch Biggest Loser tonight to too.

We went to Niagara Falls yesterday - they had an outside market - it was a little disappointing becasue it was not all set up yet and the shops were so tiny that only a couple of people could fit in there. But we took my granddaughters and Michael to see the falls again - always exciting. Alot of people were there and it was so windy. Then headed home last night - it is good to be home. Headed back to Buffalo next weekend as we girls are doing a spa day and my daughters birthday.
such a busy time of the year.

Janet - I will probably cook a turkey here as I love the leftovers - but all the food we made was so good. Hope you enjoyed your mexican. Iti is hard to sit around and listen to negativity.

Kelly - good for you for going out in the shopping frenzy.

I have to work today - hope its not too crazy.

Cades Cove is in TN. That was one of my favorite places when we traveled one year. Stayed im a great bed and breakfast in the Smokey Mountains.

I have managed to lose lots of threads while sparking on my phone. This was one of them. Enjoyed reading all the posts!

Pat......So did you get everyone seated for 1:30?

Christina.....Can't wait to see photos of your way chalet!

Kelly.....There is nothing I need that much to do the whole 2 a.m. shopping thing or the black k Friday "mess." Glad you enjoyed it!

Dorothy....Hope you're enjoying Buffalo.

I have managed to rest. Maegann is sleeping on a cot next to one of "those" beds. Having it to myself has helped a lot. We have done lots of sitting around and listening to MIL complaining. She sure has changed now that her health is failing. I did make it to the gym twice and also had a good walk this afternoon at the Colorado river. Ready to head home in the morning.

I think I will roast a turkey for Christmas as the food was not that great for Thanksgiving. Dry. Cold. Tasteless. Made it easy not to go overboard though! Did enjoy the parade and dog show.

Heading out for Mexican food tonight to celebrate my nephews birthday.

boo hoo hooo....lost my post. maybe thats best, I was complaining about beiing disappointent with lack of deals. Chaz was the big score on his gift for his teacher...extension cords. Wonder if she ever got those as a gift before?? I only got batteries at Lowes. Mom did get the printer for $19 at midnight...and BonTon was so crowded at 2 am you could barely get in the doors! I just didn't really need anything that bad!! But its about the hoopla for me, not the actual shopping. And this am, by 10 everyone was clearing out, so thats a let down. The crowds excite me!! Today is in the high 60's and absolutely gorgeous!! hope you all are as blessed!
Glad we all made our flight from Buenos Aires in time to meet up with Christina in the Smokey Mts. Wow, can we ever make a good score at that craft loop!! I LOVE mts...total Mt chic. Smell, scenery, dress code...I like the feeling of being surrounded like a fortress in the valleys and the exhileration of conquering the "wall" on the summits. My medieval side??
How will we get all this back on the plane?, better get Gary to rent us a uhaul!

Christina - are yoi in Florida? I was confused because I thought you were spending it with your Mom and then you went hiking so you must have all met somewhere??

Kelly - that is so something I would have done too - we don't have to much on our mind do we - lol!!! My mom went to Walmart at midnight and bought a television set.

Pat - did you eat on time??

Heather - I did not have any pumpkin pie - how about pumpkin roll.

3 of my girls and I did the turkey trot yesterday - we did a total of 10 miles - 5 of them running and I did it - who hoo! Thanksgiving meal was wonderful - we all pitxhed in and cooked - love Thanksgiving and all the good food. And 4 of the receipes we used were spark people recipies.

Getting ready to go out shopping for a bit and then heading home.

my mom is headed to Walmart at midnight...and is afraid she will be "late"!! ....I accidentally left my back door open and came home to the furnace running full tilt. Still NOT sure how I did that, but nothing is missing or anything like that, and I had the pie out there on the patio overnight, so I must not have latched it??? We left here before noon and got home around 8 pm emoticon

Happy Thanksgiving to my Spark family!!!
Christina I'm picturing you in this "Hallmark movie" chalet... everyone wearing coordinated oufits with festive cornocopias around the big steaming golden brown turkey..smiling and giving thanks for all things..I'm so happy for you to be having this awesome experience!
Janet...are you working out in the gym today? You are becoming such a diehart I thought maybe the gang has to fend for themselves while you "escape" to the gym HEHE! Trust me, I know ALL about that ESCAPE route!
Pat I'm so impressed with your organization! Sooo?? what time was it? and did everything go off well? that would be so much fun to have all that togetherness, elbows banging, chairs stuck on each others, legs kicking under the table and using each others silverware by accident!! I would LOVE that!!
Heather...that is funny how we are product of our environment. Our minds tell us what day it is, but not being surrounded by all the hype we have here, it would be hard to remember. Wish I could send you a pumpkin pie,,,,with sugar emoticon
Doro...are you and the girls headed out into the craziness?? That would be fun to do it...will it be all one herd, or divide and conquer? Whats the plan of attack?

Happy Thanksgiving emoticon

I hope you've all had a great time enjoying families and food. Can't wait to hear if Pat's family sat down to eat at the designated time, how the kitchen worked for Christina and if she left any vital equipment at home, how Janet's back is after sleeping on "those" beds, how much Kelly saved on Black Friday, and how the trip to Buffalo went for Doro.

We had a very normal day here, it was hard to remember that it was a holiday at home.
Eat a piece of pumpkin pie for me (as long as I don't have to put all those calories in my tracker it'll be all good emoticon )

As usual I should be finishing up my packing and in the shower, but here I am saying hi to my friends! Gary will be home in the next hour.

I will try to catch up tonight but Gary has already suggested that I limit my computer time:) We have a 5 hr drive today. I am so excited! I have never been away for Thanksgiving before. It will be a challenge cooking in a strange kitchen!

Funny thought about eating in shifts! I've read about that in books... But no, we'll all eat at 1:30 (Those numbers are in upper case, for emphasis, ;-) if you didn't notice.) around 2 tables in our dining room and adjoining living room.

I emphasize "1:30" because I'm so hoping to break the tradition of being late, and start a new tradition of enjoying a leisurely meal around the table, instead of around the Cowboy game!

I'm up still, because I'm waiting on the Turkey Brine to cool, so I can get these turkeys started.

I want to take this time to say that you are a warm and welcoming team! Thanks for accepting this newbie, and helping me along my road to fitness. I'm glad that I've been given the chance to get to know each of you, and hope that you have an awesome Thanksgiving weekend!

I wrote a quick blog about Thanksgiving and my desire to have the meal on time. If you want to read that and the one I'm about to write, you'll get a little glimpse of "Life at the Christopherson House!" Never a dull moment!

Safe Travels!

Blessings,
Pat

But all my friends are woosing out on me and its no fun alone in crowds of hundreds! Tim is off but that may be hazardous to our marriage to take him out in the nuttiness!

Hi girls
Janet, they are in Steamboat?? Beats me...I'm out of the loop.
Parent teacher was short and sweet. Evidentally Chaz is doing well academically despite the teacher thinking he is in lala land 90% of the time. However when she asks him a question, he rattles off the right answer. She says just when she thinks she has him figured out, he changes up on her! ...and he is starting to talk, but she says it out of context. During math, he is talking about what happened over the weekend and she thinks "he's not even focused on his work" and he just sits there...then when all the kids are ready to go to recess, she tells him he will need to stay in finish and he rips out pencil and does it properly in a minute or two. I apologized for him being so frustrating...so mentioned adhd..but doesn't think thats the case (just hearing the word sets me on edge of worry though).
Christina...you are so calm about it all. That's great way to be...I need more lessons from you on that! Benj is special and blessed to have you for a mom. That is hard when they struggle but you are right....loving him is the best thing for him! I'mpraying I'm loving Chaz properly and not trying to my will but rather God's....

We made it in 10 1/2 hours. Appears we will be staying at the MILs so walking to the gym is out. Sleeping won't be as restful either....horrible mattresses.

I couldn't believe how much I slept in the van today. Very telling that I've been running on fumes.

Also dealing with spotting which I shouldn't be having. I have my next shot on the 4th so will ask about it then.

No Thanksgiving here. We usually celebrate on the weekend after. This year I made a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and invited our friends (who used to be our language teachers) to join us. They were very excited and enjoyed the food very much (except for the disastrous pumpkin pie). We have invited people who have American connections in years past. We may redo our favorite parts of the meal on Saturday - candied sweet potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie.

Best wishes for safe travel for those taking off to visit relatives. Kelly, I'm staying home emoticon

I'm not nearly as sore as I thought I would be after rollerblading. This morning I walked 4.5 miles. That probably helped loosen things up, although my feet hurt when I got home. It was cold and foggy. I love November weather as long as it doesn't rain.

Kelly I have parent teacher confrence next Mon with Ben's teacher. I went to make the appt and the secretary laughed at me b/c I am there all the time. So I ask the teacher and she said "Oh yes we need to offically talk!" CRAP! I already know he is behind. not much we can do except love him where he is! To me he is a PRODIGY child who just thinks differently than others! That is what I will lovingly tell them too. emoticon He is still young for K, but KY rules say he couldn't do another year of preK.

What is everyones traditions? I don't think we have traditions much anymore! I never know where we will be for holidays anymore. It is a real change for me growing up I was ALWAYS at Gma's with all the family. It has just been in the last 4-5 years once we adopted all the boys that we have made so much change. Gary loves to travel!

Heather do you teach your german friends about Thanksgiving?

Hi ladies! Another full day here with co-op and then trying to get suitcases packed for our early morning. Will be traveling home on Saturday so praying the weather holds for us.

I had almost decided on 2x/week for 30 min. so it is interesting you all said that today! I do plan to get to the gym atleast 3x/week and then do the treadmill and/or Wii Fit at home the other days. Heading to the gym in CO on Wed/Fri...so glad they got that approved for me!

Argentina on Tuesday: Teatro Maipo (a comedy club)

As the central axis of the Porteña (which means "from Buenos Aires—a port city") variety shows, the Maipo Theatre has lifted the curtains on the giants of this genre. Three Argentine divas, Nélida Lobato, Susana Giménez and Moria Casán began their prolific careers here as vedettes (showgirls). Some memorable performances include that of Fidel Pinto and the premiere of the tango "Mi noche triste” (My Sad Night), with none other than Carlos Gardel, in 1917. It now stages children's shows, comedies and comedias picarescas (tinged with risqué humour). Seating capacity is for 700.

I think with all the celebrating and traveling I will just cancel our daily plans until I'm back on Saturday...we can always double up on our plans!

If I don't get back tonight (must go get my co-op email done now) I will be on hit and miss while traveling but want to wish you all a WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!!!!!! I am so thankful for each one of you!

LOL Kelly now I have visions of the old song The day the squirel went berzerk in the church... Do you remember that one?

I helped the K class make friendshp braclets It was not bad until I told them the pilgrams and indians were friends and they needed to trade their braclets with a friend. They got a bit selfish. LOL It was funny. Now I am getting ready to go watch Matt in the talent show at his school.

Thanksgiving is coming up fast and I am looking forward to it. I need a couple of days off. I am taking Micahel and his freind to the movies tonight - the Library has free movies on mondays with popcorn. They are showing the Green Hornet. I mentioned it to michael ane he mentioned it to his freind. no way do i dare let those two go with supervision. So I guess I will be mssing zumba emoticon

Janet - 2 sessions of 30 minutes may keep yopu going more reguarly. Enjoy your trip to CO and drive safely.

Kelly - LOL - is Tim going to be looking like Davy Crockitt??

Christina - you enjoy your trip as well and do drive safely. Enjoy every minute with your mother.

Heather - wow - that was alot of exercise. Way to go!!

I better get moving.

Hi all...happy Monday! Can younz believe it's Thanksgiving week already?? CRAZY!! Where has this year gone...and are we better for it?
Janet I think you are doing well! I would go with 2 30 mins. I'm not a big believer in only once a week because that would be too easy to get WAY behind if you only skip once...but the 2X/wk is more consistent I think...now will you go in between trainer times and do the workout on your own too? I would think that would be a good idea...I only go zumba for a full hour. Curves is 30 mins or I wouldn't go...I like the "quickness". Good workout and I think mentally I work harder because my mindset is "I can do ANYTHING for 30 minutes" and I'm a cram more into shorter time frame type of gal...so I push harder than I would if it was longer.
Doro...that is so hard to deal with them when they are not acting like MEN. or rather not like the man they SHOULD be!! Sometimes I think if they only ate right, worked out, and learned to cope emotionally they would either be better, or at least we would be better for it!! lol Tim acts like it would be easier to swim across the Atlantic wearing sacks of raw meat! Hugs to ya...try not wring his neck. lol Can you slip hiim some "nice pills"....wonder if Janet has any leftovers from Isaac?...oh, they didn't work, better get other ones.
Oh LOVELY...Tim bought a live trap to catch the gray squirrel that moved into his hunting shanty. This oughta be good!!! Why do I have visions of Tim coming out of the woods with this thing on his head and a squirrel pointing and laughing at him. lol He and Chaz are off to set it....what do squirrels eat? NUTS? I'm afraid we will have a whole family of rodents in it..I better go supervise.

Janet I think I would go for 2- 30 min sessions. that way I know I would get there more often. I need accountability!

Dorothy I hope your hubby gets the help he needs.I am sending upprayers for your daughter!

I had an AMAZING weekend! All of the kids (47 of them) participated in the prayer/ communion service on Sat. night. They chose to commit or recommit to following Chirist. It was very powerful! Most of them came back to Youth Group last night and shared with the others about what they had learned.

I have today and tomorrow to get some shopping done and everything packed for Thanksgiving. We are off Wed morning for Gatlinburg!

Kelly WOW I am so happy you got away on a retreat!

Dorothy~I’ve been having 60 min. sessions from the beginning and they have been okay. I wonder though if 2x/week for 30 min. each would be better than 1x/week for 60. I’ll have to think it through. Sorry for the issue with the hubby right now. Will be praying you get it figured out and resolved soon. So exciting about your daughter! We’re just going to pray those embryos “stick!”

Heather~Nice about your son’s friend going to church and actually enjoying it. Yeah! I still have to get my balance on my rollerblades. Figure we’ll haul them to CO and maybe we can get to the skate park. They have a nice fence next to an outer sidewalk that would help me! LOL Yep…Thanksgiving week for us!

I found out this morning on the way to church that my friend's husband died on Saturday afternoon. She knew it was coming, but only had 5 days after learning there was no other treatment for the cancer as it came back so aggressively. She thought they had 3 more months! So sad.

Worship was good and all about being thankful to God in so many ways.

This afternoon I did go to the gym. Enjoyed most of an episode of "Chopped" while on the treadmill so walked longer than planned. I don't have anything but air-network channels at home so that is definitely a treat at the gym! LOL Made it through the machines and ab work the trainer has me doing.

Tomorrow....here we go again....co-op day! Should be an easy day since we don't have extra things going on. Once home I must do another load of laundry and get suitcases packed. We leave at 5 a.m. on Tuesday.

Argentina on Monday: Nico Alligator Art

If you manage to get by the pit bull chained near the entrance (he seems to be more bark than bite), you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of found-object artworks inside this huge, no-frills warehouse, which houses both the artist's studio and exhibition space. From materials such as old pipes, rusted hubcaps, and broken glass, Nico has formed figures that are wonderful positioned together or alone; choose from a twelve-inch dog-walker to a five-foot cupid, complete with bow and arrow.

Happy Sunday Ladies,

Janet - hope your time at the gym is productive. I've not done the gym thing but I would probably lean towards 2 -30 minute sessions because you can always stay and work a little more without the trainer. Doro also had some good insights with experience behind them. emoticon

Doro - so sorry about your hubby's struggles. That's a challenge that affects all. Will be praying for some type of a breakthrough for him and also good things( emoticon ) for your daughter.

Kellly - can't wait to hear about your weekend.

Looking forward to seeing how the retreat went for Christina also.

Had a good morning at church. My son's friend went with us. He said he enjoyed it and would like to go again. Good news! I know the experience was very different than the traditional German Lutheran church he attends occasionally.

After lunch I went rollerblading with Gretchen and Joe. Bladed 20 min with a few scares of wet leaves on the pavement. I'd like to go again without kids and see how long I can go. Then I went with Gretchen so she will feel comfortable taking our dog for a walk by herself. Then rode my bike to take homework to one of Joe's classmates. 109 fitness minutes for the day. I think I'll be a little sore tomorrow. I definitely felt different muscles being used while blading.

Looks like a busy week coming up. Just realized that you all will be having Thanksgiving this week. emoticon

Janet - I think whcih ever way would work best for you with the trainer is the way to go. 1 hour is a long trining session. I guess the best way to think about it is how long do you want to work out each time you go. Most of my classes are 30 to 45 minutes long. I do take a couple of hour ones but may faves are proably 45 minutes. I am just so proud of how concious of all of this you are now - way to go!!

Kelly - glad you had a wonderful weekend away. Think it was much needed.

Heather - enjoy your sleep. Sounds like busy times at your house. Michael wanted a freind to spend the night but I have to work this morning and hubby is in one of his funks. I told him over the weekend (next weekend) would work out better. Hubby is a hunter but I think that is why he is in a funk. Not sure what is going on and he is withdrawn. If I try to talk with him it just ends up in a huge fight. I really need to get him to a Dr on (another one) - I think he may have adult ADHD.

Still praying for my daughter - won't know much to after the Thanksgiving holiday. It is making me crazy.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Last weeks defeat is a gateway to many victories.

Lord - grant me the Serenity to accept the things I can not change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Maegann is feeling much better. I'm thinking she was just exhausted as well. Her throat is still a little bothersome but not complaining of it this evening thankfully. My throat/sinuses are not perfect but I think it's from the leaf raking yesterday with all the allergens I inhaled. I've sure enjoyed a calmer day!

Well...no gym or leaf raking today. The wind kicked up so I knew raking would be futile. I plan to break our "no work day" rule tomorrow and go to the gym. I have to get another day in before we travel on Tuesday. I do have gym clearance in CO so plan on going Wed & Fri.

A little advice ladies... I have to decide on the trainer situation. Do you think 1x/week for an hour is enough or would you go for 2x/week for 30 min. each?

Doro - sounds like it was your cancellation day today. Hope the weekend goes quickly. Do you have hunters in the family?

Janet - glad the presentation night went well. How is Maegann feeling?

I hope Christina is having fun with the teenagers.

Dh is home. Gretchen had a friend to spend the night last night and Nick has one tonight. I've enjoyed watching BL and it's got me thinking. I'm going to try and hit the pillow earlier tonight for a change.

Have a great Sunday.

SP is sure a pain this afternoon trying to load pages. Crazy.

Presentation Night went very well and we raised almost $450 on our silent auction. Yeah! I'm thankful the drama thing is over as that was a total stress to me the entire first session. I spent an hour cleaning the front of the sanctuary this morning while the kids were in Taekwondo. The drama teacher had torn it all apart and there was straw everywhere. I think I got all the decorations fairly close but glad Kim from church was going in today so she could fix it if needed. Anyway...the first one done and a big success. The members surprised me with a gift basket to say thank you. Movie tickets, dinner, a massage and some other little goodies. Very sweet.

This afternoon...laundry and hemming a couple pair of pants for Maegann. We found some at the thrift store that were like new and the only problem was the length and not by much. She needs them for winter and definitely for our trip to CO next week. Planning to make it a fairly low-key day as I'm still so tired. Should go to the gym since I won't get there until Wednesday. I may just walk on the treadmill here instead today.

Have fun Christina!

I got the back yard raked as it began raining. Now it is snowing. Great. Hoping it is short-lived so it doesn't mess with our presentation night.

Hi Mommies!
I am at the church sneeking a a quick message to you!! I am off to the Jr High retreat for the weekend. Please pray for these kids. Pray that they will sense God's presence and be changed. Some of them have some major family issues and haven't been raised to believe. One of our girls lost her father this week and today is the funeral.

I will be back on Sunday night or Monday.

~Christina

Kelly~Sorry about the sleep issues. Won't be fun when it all catches up with you.

I'm running on fumes this morning and I've got a long night ahead with presentation night. I let myself and the kids sleep in until 8 today as I knew they were both exhausted as well. Maegann's got a sore throat and isn't feeling well. Great timing huh? She has her play tonight. I really need to go to the gym for awhile this afternoon as I really don't want to go on the weekends but I'm struggling as I know I have to be at church by 5 p.m. to open the doors for setup. Since Tim will be home it will make it easier to get to the gym though. I'm never going to let a week get this stacked up again...not worth it!

Not sure why I'm up this late...not even remotely tired! I'm wiped out during the day and come night I HATE to go to bed...weird. Even the sleep challenge can't seem to reform me! and now my mind is absorbed in this chicken issue...how will they get all those eggs from chickens not in cages?? Just one big mass of hens in a big yard and go around and pick them up?? No wonder I can't sleep...such perplextion. LOL nite nite all...I'm going to force myself into bed!

Heather~Glad you found a way to view BLoser and that you're enjoying it. Interesting about the eggs. Ours (at our house) are free range and they are better than the caged stuff.

Kelly~Glad you were able to hold your tongue in the store instead of giving a modesty lesson. It would be hard not to say something.

Argentina for Friday: Dinner at Lola

A combination of classic, elegant and modern decor, this place is considered to be one of the trendiest restaurants in Buenos Aires. Celebrities from the world of cinema and fashion frequent it, and it is the place to live it up—an evening at "Lola" starts with a glass of champagne at the bar. The works of Hermenegildo Sabat gracing the dining room walls accent the French and European cuisine. Try the Nahuel Trout with pine nuts, mushrooms and croquete potatoes; or the tomato and vegetable mousse with crunchy celery.

Hi girls...went to Walmart and thats about it....but boy it was well worth it. Exchanged dry erase markers for a different brand and saved and didn't but anything else! 1st time ever paying cash and using a $5!!! ...disturbing part was seeing a person that should have been wearing WAY bigger pants and a much longer shirt!! She was trying to pull her pants up by the back belt loop and it just was NOT happening...my first instinct was to help her, you know...like when someone's tag is sticking out of her shirt...or they have a hair flipping out. But I somehow just KNEW her problem was a little out af my comfort zone! Part of me felt sorry that people were gawking,,,but then I thought, she is walking into Walmart wearing too little. I just wish I didn't have the overwhelming need to try to educate these types!!! It drove me crazy not to give her a lesson on modesty, or at least refer her to SP!!
off to curves....later
