The woman who found my TB and brought it to me has it again. She went to some place in China as a English teacher. So she came back to camp and took it from me. Since then she has not logged taking it nor placed it anywhere. It has been two months, I hope she does not loose it nor forget she still has it.
The miles will certainly add up if it is dropped or visited in a cache. Indonesia to us to usa to Canada and then over to China not to mention its return journey

Very Cool !! I had one of mine picked up by a military guy, and he took it from USA to South Korea (had several photos w/ it) and brought it back home so it can continue around the USA.. Was very exciting to see it travel 17,000 miles.

How many miles did your bug end up traveling ?

If you don't love yourself....how can you expect others to.

Joy oh so much happiness - my TB Home that was dropped in Indonesia, traveled to the UK - USA - Canada has been dropped right into my hands today. A young woman with a friend picked it up. She now has joined geocaching and made contact with me said she wanted to return my travel bug. I offered to meet her in Squamish, but she offered to bike here to camp. She told me her roommate is one of the guys working at camp last year -- one of the guys who was dating my young beautiful dishwashers before they were fired. Today is open house so I said come here and I would feed her. After she ate I took her out to find three more caches - two of ones I own and one other. I showed her how to log them so hopefully she will return home and do so. She does not have a gps yet but she said she was going to go buy one.. She is hoping to move to China to teach English - she will know in a month if she gets the job and if she does I will give her the TB back and send it to China with her to see if it can make it back home

Haven't updated in a while so time for another travel bug check in on the list of TB's I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 1549 miles and is still quite active. Sparky is currently in southern/middle California around Ridgecrest. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty but seems to be seeking the warmth of the California sun instead right now. He has turned north since the last update, so appears to be on track.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has gathered 4,595 miles and is still up in the Saskatchewan territory in Canada He seems to have come to a standstill in Turtle Lake Sanctuary. Looks like we need to wait out the winter months before we see this one move again. And it is in the back country a bit. If anyone knows anyone in this area, would you send them to rescue Sparkle. The good news is that I think saber tooth tigers didn't mind cold weather but he is expected to go to Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) has traveled 2370 miles and appears to be playing all over Missouri right now. He is currently in the hands of a cacher, south of Columbia. Good to see the turtle continuing to move. Humored by the current geocachers comment that perhaps Tory partook of the current legalized indulgence of Colorado and got confused and headed east instead of west towards his California target. Hmm, could be right! That geocacher has offered to try to get him going west again!

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will hopefully be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). They have now traveled 4,646 miles and continues to travel along the Spokane River in Idaho near the Coeur D'Alene area. It is a beautiful area and I can see why they are spending extra time there.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who were meant to be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, appear to be lost in the hands of a local cacher who I cannot get to respond to me. This one has not moved since last October so I may need to send out a replacement. Will do so here in a bit. Before their demise they had traveled 2,049 miles.

So as a group it seems 4 of the 5 TB's are still in play although one of those 4 may be stalled for the season. Overall, as a group they have traveled 15,209 miles. WOOHOO!

The first travel bug (In Paradise) I ever picked up came to Idaho from Hawaii. The farthest I could get it was Utah. Yesterday it reach New Brunswick, Canada. It's goal is to get back to Hawaii. It would be great if it can get there by continuing to travel east around the world.

Time fora travel bug check in on the list of TB's I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 1404 miles and is still quite active. Sparky is currently in California about half way between Long Beach and San Diego. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty but seems to be seeking the warmth of the California sun instead right now. Hopefully he will turn north soon.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has gathered 4,595 miles and is still up in the Saskatchewan territory in Canada He seems to have come to a standstill in Turtle Lake Sanctuary. Weather may be playing a role in this ones progress right now as no one has been to this cache since it was dropped off. And it is in the back country a bit. There has been no activity on this TB or cache and it is possible that he is set for the winter there. If anyone knows anyone in this area, would you send them to rescue Sparkle. The good news is that I think saber tooth tigers didn't mind cold weather but he is expected to go to Alamogordo New Mexico.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) has traveled through 3 more states since we last talked and moved 2256 miles. He turned northeast in his travels though instead of going west. Tory traveled through Missouri and Iowa and is currently residing in Illinois in the White Rock Nature Preserve. Looks like a beautiful area but will require a 3.8 mile round trip hike to a mountain ridge and back to be rescued. Again, may not see much movement on this one until spring now.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). They have now traveled 4,598 miles and has been picked up from Oregon and is now along the Spokane River in Idaho. I was just in this area for the second time in 2 months and it is absolutely gorgeous. There are hundreds of Bald Eagles hanging out in the area right now feeding on the salmon spawning. Amazing site to see. I hope to find time to go back and do some geocaching. I expect to be going back up there again in the next couple of months so if Anemone and Gino stall there I will grab them and move them along.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, has done a very big circle traveling 2049 miles. These guys are still in the hands of a fellow Fort Collins Cacher.I have sent an email to find out what is going on with this pair.

So as a group it seems all 5 TB's are still in play although some may be stalled for the season. Overall, as a group they have traveled 14,902 miles. WOOHOO!

I had a TB missing for over a year and it just showed up one day. lol You never know. We dropped one off on vacation once and said bring it home, when it was within 20 miles of home we changed it to travel the states. It's been on planes and dozens of states. I haven't heard anything about it in several months though. Not sure where it is. May have to look up last location again.

the TB going to Fort Collins Colorado is still in a traveling mode - but I don't think it is going the direction I want. It did make it once across the Oregon border - but now it keeps heading North in Washington state -- I think it is trying to return home - hopefully it will do a turn around soon.

Mr. TB going to San Jose CA is missing - hopefully he will be discovered and put back on track this year.

Time for another update on the list of TB's I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 1179 miles and is making great progress. Sparky is currently in California about half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) has traveled 604.2 miles in a southerly direction which is on track basically. He has moved down into Las Cruces, New Mexico and is now needing to take a western turn. Tory is still sitting in The Twelve Labors of Hercules: Labor 5 Cache just waiting to hitch that next ride. As far as I can tell this one is on top of a mountain and a member of the GC party that was delivering him was helicoptered out and taken to the hospital for a collapsed lung. He did not fall or anything, so they don't really know why his lung collapsed. Tory was witness to the drama. No one has been to the cache since he landed there.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). They have now traveled 4,221.7 miles and has been picked up from Oregon and is now rumored to be heading to Idaho to be placed somewhere around Coeur d' Alene Lake. I was recently in that area and it is absolutely gorgeous. I hope to find time to go back and camp around that lake and do some geocaching. While I was there I was watching bald eagles fish in the lake. I hope that Anemone and Gino find a nice location there.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, has done a very big circle traveling 2049 miles. These guys are still in the hands of a fellow Fort Collins Cacher.I will do a reach out and find out what is going on with this pair.

So as a group it seems all 5 TB's are still in play and moving, some more than others. Overall, as a group they have traveled 12,648.9 miles. NOT BAD, HUH?!?!

My travel bug going to Fort Collins Colorado is moving again. It is now in the cache
GC4QA8F back in Washington. It made it across the border into Oregon for a short stop then retreated back into Washington - but who knows it is at least at an airport.
It has traveled 389 some miles...

Time for another update on the list of TB's I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 156.5 miles and is moving around again having been rescued from his drowned GC site now. As it happens I know the geocacher that picked this one up recently. She has moved along nearly 1000 TB's so Sparky is in good hands. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has gathered 4,595 miles and is still up in the Saskatchewan territory in Canada That is a lot of miles for a little critter that was just traveling from Colorado to Alamgordo, New Mexico. If he keeps up his norm he will probably try to get to New Mexico by going to the North Pole and across Europe!

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) has traveled 604.2 miles in a southerly direction which is on track basically. He has moved down into Las Cruces, New Mexico and is now needing to take a western turn. Tory is still sitting in The Twelve Labors of Hercules: Labor 5 Cache just waiting to hitch that next ride.He landed there only yesterday.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). They have now traveled 4,176 miles and seem to be moving down Highway 5 going south through Oregon. This one moved as recent as yesterday, but needs to start working on going east now.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, has done a very big circle traveling 2049 miles. These guys are still in the hands of a fellow Fort Collins Cacher. I don't know this cacher personally but have seen the name around a lot and they seem like a pretty active cacher so I trust they will make a drop here eventually.

So as a group it seems all 5 TB's are still in play and moving, some more than others. Overall, as a group they have traveled 11,580.7 miles. NOT BAD, HUH?!?!

I should had collected the TB myself and brought it on the Road Trip.
I could had dropped it so close to its designation.
On my way to San Jose CA to GC1M6ZA Hedge Hog is back Vancouver again. It is trying to return to me without going to San Jose CA.

Well at least it is not lost.

Good news Marty, I have rescued SParky the Grey Whale from his underwater cache. Fortunately he is a whale and seemed to do okay in the water unlike other parts of the cache. The matchbox porche faired much worse! I have cleand this TB up and will release it in a safer location and hopefully it will start going your way.

Time for another update on the list of TB's I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 94 miles and is still sitting north of Denver Colorado, USA in Mondo's Riverdale03. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty. This one still hasn't moved and no one has been to this cache since the floods. I get back in town tomorrow evening and depending on weather I will see if I can find it. Sounds like it might sleeting though so I probably won't try to search if that is the case. Update to come.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) on the other hand has resurfaced with a wad of hours! Sparkle has been seen running around Saskatchewan Canada and has gather 4,595 miles in the process! That is a lot of miles for a little critter that was just traveling from Colorado to Alamogordo, New Mexico. If he keeps up his norm he will probably try to get to New Mexico by going to the North Pole and across Europe!

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) has traveled 133 miles in a southerly direction which is on track basically. He has moved down further south towards Canon CIty Colorado and continues to live up to his name. Tory is still sitting in Farmer's Crossing taking a nap probably! No one has visited that cache since he landed.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). They have now traveled 4,059 miles and are seemingly moving towards Portland, Oregon. Since there was no movement for awhile on this guy, the geocacher that placed him there has gone back and picked them back up and is moving them to another cache to get them on their way again. Pretty cool, huh?

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, has done a very big circle traveling 1920.6 miles. It appears these two are currently wandering around Wyoming looking fora place to hang out.

So as a group it seems that I have three very active movers, and 2 sleepers one of which may have succumbed to a natural disaster (Act of God). Overall, as a group they have traveled 10,801 miles.

Time for an update on the list of TB's I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 94 miles and is still sitting north of Denver Colorado, USA in Mondo's Riverdale03. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty. I am a little worried about this one. I have heard from the owner of this cache which said that he had no reason to believe the cache was hit by the Colorado floods but he hasn't actually gone out to see and no one else has visited this cache since the flooding, so I remain skeptical. When I get back in the state (not until the 17th) I will try to run by and find that cache. Then we will see if we need to launch a new trackable.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has logged 1892 miles and is back to Canada from Belize although he has not been dropped yet in Canada. Sparkle's mission is to travel to Alamogordo, New Mexico but he apparently felt the need to take a tropical vacation first. He way overshot coming back up north but we'll see what happens. I have heard from the person holdng this one and they do intend to drop him in Canada but he has been super busy with work. So, hang in there I think Sparkle is still in play.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) has traveled 133 miles in a southerly direction which is on track basically. He has moved down further south towards Canon CIty Colorado and continues to live up to his name.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). These guys have been all the way out to the nations capitol and had their picture taken there. But then they went somewhere really exciting.....they are currently sitting in the original stash geoplaque where the first geocache was ever placed! They have now traveled 4,059 miles and are seemingly moving towards Portland, Oregon.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, has done a very big circle traveling 1875 miles. This pair went to Washington state to the Mega Event and has managed to come right back here and ironically was last seen visiting one of MY HIDES! How ironic is that? So, hopefully his next movement out of the area will go east this time. WIll try to reach out to this person and see what the scoop is.

So as a group it seems that I have two very active movers, one that started well but has come to a stop, and 1 that has started slow but looks to be going to make a big move soon, and one of which may have succumbed to a natural disaster (Act of God). Overall, as a group they have traveled 8,053 miles.

Here is the newest update on the list I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 94 miles and is still sitting north of Denver Colorado, USA in Mondo's Riverdale03. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty. I am a little worried about this one. I have one more person to contact before calling this, but Sparky was in a cache that may have very well gone under water in the floods out here. I will finish trying to track him and then if all else fails I will take a road trip to the area and see if there is any hope. If it appears he has taken to the water (as a whale may do) then I will launch another TB for you Marty.
UPDATE 9-23-2013 This TB was still in this cache prior to the flood and I had one guy respond to me that he had heard on the news that this area did go under water. I am going to try to contact the CO of the cache and verify this.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has logged 1892 miles and has recently been picked up from Belize and rumor has it he is traveling back to Canada although he has not been dropped yet in Canada. Sparkle's mission is to travel to Alamogordo, New Mexico but he apparently felt the need to take a tropical vacation first. He way overshot coming back up north but we'll see what happens. Have sent another message to the person that picked him up in Belize. If I can't get a response I may need to launch another one for this location too.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) has traveled 99.2 miles in a southerly direction which is on track basically. He has been picked up again from the cache he was in. He is now in the hands of a veteran geocacher whom has over 8800 finds and has logged nearly 800 TB's. Apparently Tory knows how to find the veterans so far. This is normally a good thing. I have sent a message inquiring about Tory so if there is no response I will launch a new one again for San Jose.
UPDATE: Tory the Turtle is still in good hands, he meant to take Tory to New Mexico with him but accidentally forgot. He is going to Las Cruces next month and will drop Tory there at that time.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). These guys have had a really interesting trip as of late and although they traveled to within about an hour or so's drive of their destination, they were not dropped there. They have been all the way out to the nations capitol and had their picture taken there. But then they went somewhere really exciting.....they are currently sitting in the original stash geoplaque where the first geocache was ever placed! They have now traveled 4,029 miles and are sitting in teh coolest cache spot ever.
9-23-2013 Update - These guys have already been picked up again with a note pointing out that these guys are going the wrong way and that they will try to move them in the correct direction.

So as a group it seems that I have two very active movers, one that started well but has come to a stop, and 1 that has started slow but looks to be going to make a big move soon, and one of which may have succumbed to a natural disaster (Act of God). Overall, as a group they have traveled 7,989 miles.

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 94 miles and is still sitting north of Denver Colorado, USA in Mondo's Riverdale03. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty. I haven't heard anything back from the guy that was at this cache last, so I may have to do a road trip down and see if I can see if it is still there and if so maybe move him to a better spot for pick up.

Haven't seen Tory dropped off yet.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). These guys have now traveled 183.9 miles and is apparently going to head to Oregon first before heading east. Just so they can see the ocean out there.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, took a big trip (938 miles) to Washington state to attend the Going APE 2013 Mega -Event. Crusty and Kyle spent some time visiting with the other 92+ TB's that were dipped and or exchanged at this event. Can't wait to see where they show up next. Gail, I have sent an email to the person holding these guys to see what the plan is. I will let you know.

So as a group they have now traveled 3206 miles.

A good day to you too. Weather permitting I will be going either the week of September 9th or the week of September 16th. First stop will be southbound on the I5. Next bug will be dropped off somewhere in western Washington. I'll log them as soon as I get home. Let me know if you want me to drop them sooner.

I have emailed people and usually the first email I thank them for picking up my TB and let them know that it is trying to get to a friend for me and how important that is and encourage them to set it free as soon as they can. Seems like this usually gets a good response.

Well I am thinking of releasing another TB. I am traveling to Victoria BC so if I release one there I wonder if it will travel - my other two Spark TB seem to be hiding in someones bag - I have hope they will escape soon - I might send an email to the person who picked them up and ask him to release them --- IS that a good idea or not????

Wow, Croatia - that is amazing! How many miles does it have on it?

Here is the update on the list I have traveling to SPark folks:

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 94 miles and is still sitting north of Denver Colorado, USA in Mondo's Riverdale03. Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia to visit Marty. Hopefully he will take off this weekend again.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has traveled 1892 miles and appears to have
landed in the Tides Canyon cache today in Belize. Lucky bug. Sparkle's mission is to travel to Alamogordo, New Mexico but he apparently felt the need to take a tropical vacation first. Sparkle appears to like vacation as he continues to sit on the beach in a cache.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) is living up to his name having only traveled 0.3 miles but is now traveling with the number 6 geotracker in the state of Colorado, Vivi. SInce I haven't seen any movement in almost two weeks, I have sent an email to Vivi asking about this TB.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). These guys have now traveled 103 miles and are currently in a cache east of Parker, CO which is southeast of Denver.

So as a group they have traveled 3027 miles. Not bad.

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 94 miles and is currently sitting north of Denver Colorado, USA in Mondo's Riverdale03. Since Sparky is slated to travel to British Columbia, it is good that he has come back to the north side of Denver, CO.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) is living up to his name having only traveled 0.3 miles but is now traveling with the number 6 geotracker in the state of Colorado, Vivi, so I suspect we will see some good miles and movement. Vivi has visited 19, 463 distinct caches!

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A). They were picked up today and while they only traveled a mile, it is a start!.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, took a big trip (938 miles) to Washington state to attend the Going APE 2013 Mega -Event. Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ has traveled 69 miles and is currently sitting south of Denver Colorado, USA in Intercache: Colorado's First - a unique geocache that got a favorites point following this drop.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has traveled 1189 miles and appears to have
landed in the Tides Canyon cache today in Belize. Lucky bug.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) is living up to his name having only traveled 0.3 miles but is now traveling with the number 6 geotracker in the state of Colorado, so I suspect we will see some good miles and movement.

Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish who will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A) were launched today after traveling around town looking for just the right spot. These travelers found their way to Colorado State University campus in a sweet little cache called The Great Eyes are Watching You located in Sherwood Forest.

Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro, Maryland, has now been picked up and is on the move. Waiting to see which cache we land in now.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) has traveled 13 miles but appears to still be in the Fort Collins, CO *SA area. and has just visited a virtual cache located at the memorial statue in town where we had a flash flood hit back in 1997 that killed 5 people.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) is living up to his name having only traveled 0.3 miles and is currently sitting in a well disguised geocache called Hidden in America.

Getting ready to launch to fellow Spark People are Crusty the crab with Kyle the Komodo Dragon (TB45QBN), who will be heading to Boonsboro Maryland, and Anemone the Clown Fish with Gino the Jellyfish who will be heading to Bloomfield, Conn. (TB5V05A).

Ok, all three SPark Bugs have launched.

Sparky the Grey Whale TB4NRGQ was picked up today, a good solid geocacher has him, sounds like he is heading towards vegas. That is the one going towards you Marty.

Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger (TB59939) launched out yesterday, again to a solid geocacher. Sounds like Sparkle may be going out of the country first so he should get some miles, but then hopefully he will find his way back to Val in New Mexico.

Tory the Turtle - Slow and Steady Wins the Race (TB3YMBE) is tucked into the Hidden in America geocache and hopefully will be traveling soon heading towards San Jose to visit 1Mankney.

I am in the process of setting up 3 more to launch soon. Anyone else looking for a TB to come their way?

Both Sparky the Gray Whale and Sparkle the Saber Tooth Tiger are tucked into their new caches awaiting publication so that they can get launched. I was hoping that their approval and release would happen this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed that they can get on the road here soon. Both caches are listed for premium members only as I think that gives them a better chance of being re-released after they get picked up.

Hey Marty,
Have to do a relocate on the new cache that your future TB is starting out in so I will try to get that reset here in the next two days and submit for publish again. I am trying to get it open for the weekend so we can get this one moving. Sparky the Gray Whale is getting impatient being stuck in this land locked state right now. He is ready to get this show on the road!
