Day 2 of the De-Tox and the porcelain Bijoona became my best friend. Today I'm feeling better, got s good nights sleep. I am noticing trips to the bathroom a little more frequent, but I was told that would happen as my digestive system "re-set" itself.

The nutritionist's at the doc's office have me on a 10-day de-tox of 90% vegetables and whole grains, 5% sugars, 5% lean protein(Meat), Plus I'm drinking 80-100 ounces of H2O a day.
This is in preparation for getting my weight down before my knee replacement.

Finally allowed to start using Resistance Bands. Its been awhile so I'm using a hybrid of SP and Ten Minute Trainer workouts.

You're right as I have limited experiences in working out and I find that whenever I am presented with a new task it takes a couple of sets to understand the mechanics and examining how my body responds. By the third set I feel better about my attempt in achieving results.

Great suggestion. Music does have a positive affect. I am working with a personal trainer and it is usually when I am exercising with him that this occurs as he ups the challenges regularly. I will add some music of my taste to our workouts to see if it helps. I also need to keep my mind focused on the I can.

How does one overcome that voice in your head that says, I can't. I am referring to my workouts, when I am presented with new challenges or increased level of exercise I often have a lack of confidence and even hopelessness of not being able to achieve the task.

Intellectually I understand that this kind of useless negativity is what ends up holding me back and keeping me from being the best I can be. It's time to turn it around once and for all!
I would like any tips or advice to break this mindset of predetermined responses that interfere with my progress.
