Melody, I hope you didn't spend Christmas in a soup kitchen--unless you were volunteering your service!

I cooked a ham, green beans and peas, dd#3 made scalloped potatoes from my MIL's recipe, ds#1 cooked a prime rib, our aunt made her homemade dinner rolls, dd#2 made a nice green salad, and my mother brought some fruitcake and cranberry bread. I just remembered (this very moment) that I bought some little cream puffs for dessert that are still in the freezer!

Fortunately, everyone either stayed over night or came back on Sunday for leftovers. I can finally get everything into the refrigerator!

I'm fixing a fancy beef roast, cooked in the slow cooker with wine, and a spinach and romaine salad with mandarin oranges, green grapes and sliced almonds. Got the meat recipe from our big church fundraiser/dinner; 800 people came for it in October, so trying it on the extended family. :) Mom's making the mashed potatoes and gravy, and a veggie dish with carrots, green beans, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, and a few spices. All topped with a bit of cheese. I'll make the rolls and she's thinking of eclairs for dessert.

What are you eating?
