Sorry I fell down on the job here .. I have done circuit training.

The premise is to not stop moving in between sets. So, for example you are doing the weight machines at the gym, do the bench press, move immediately to the the leg extension, then to the next exercise .. no rest between for you, but you rest the muscle groups. Am I being clear?

Guess we don't have any circuit trainers. :)

I would be inclined to say you are right. I have a Leslie Sansome DVD that includes 4 or 5 boosts, as she calls them, of jogging rotated with a non-running pace again. It does make it easier to build up to a new level!

OTOH, it just occurred to me that circuit training could be moving from one activity to another. Say one weight training machine to another or bike to running, etc., rotating the muscle groups used.

Guess I'm not the right person to answer either. Just didn't want you to think we were ignoring you. :)

Can someone explain circuit training? Is doing one minute cardio blasts in between strength training reps considered circuit training, or is it something else?
