I didn't buy a bottle of Coke this week at the store. Yeah!!

Got to get exercising again. I've been sluffing. (And somehow I know that's spelled wrong, but the right way isn't coming to mind...)

BACK AWAY FROM THE DIET COKE TINA!!! IT IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!!!!

I just read a funny article on the Motivation page called Breakup Letters, or something like that. You should check them out--they're a hoot!

Well, I won't be able to get a shoe on my foot for a while yet, but am wearing my pedometer today and will shoot for 10,000 steps. I don't know if I'll be able to get them in, as most of what I have to do today is at the desk or sewing machine. I think I'll just have to work on keeping my food intake down and tracked. I've been slipping on the tracking and need to go back and enter what I've eaten. I hope I can remember...

I think I'll have to wait until Dec. to readjust my goals.

Ah... there's diet Coke staring me in the face. It's so tempting, but I know I need to kick this this week! Off for some hot tea...

Falling down on my cardio this week. Have to step that up today and tomorrow!

I have NOT had a Coke tho! I have resisted them at checkouts. Yeah! They still sound good...

Hey Terri, whatever it takes! :D lol

Walking 2 mi 3 days a week will be wonderful progress for me. Also getting back to logging my water, and food at least a couple times a week.

I must have missed this topic when it was first posted. Either that, or I was still trying to find my motivation to set any kind of goal~ emoticon emoticon

The goal I set for Oct. was to get out and walk for a minimum of 15 minutes, 5 days a week. My short-term reward was (with DH's approval) $25 for every week I meet my goal. So far, I've earned $50 (didn't make it last week) and am planning to finish this week well. Once I get out the door, I always walk for at least 45 minutes (usually 90+)--I just tell myself I only have to do 15, and that gets me out the door~

I also set a goal to stay within my 1250-1500 calorie range. I kept slipping over the top--so I reset my range on my Nutrition tracker to read 1000-1250 and it's funny how well that works. I still slip over the top by a as much as 100 calories, but that's still within Spark's recommended range for me.

I know it's just a mind game, but if it "fools" my brain, then I'll take it~

I'm having foot surgery next week, so will have to wait to see what I can do before I try to set any goals for November.

As 2009 is drawing near the end (October begins next week), what goals have you accomplished this year and what new goals are you planning on setting for the upcoming months? Especially around the holidays?
