I noticed a new article posted on the SparkPeople site today: Do Diet Sodas Really Help with Weight Loss. This "sponsored blog" is in the section called "The SparkPeople Blog: Everyday Tips on HEALTHY Eating."

It is a one-sided article that does not even mention health or nutrition. I then noticed at the bottom it says: "This blog is brought to you by the American Beverage Association". And there is no place to add comments. Instead, I see that it has a bunch of likes and shares. How many people are being misled by this article and now encouraged that drinking diet soda is a part of a healthy weight loss regimen?
