O.k. ladies, I've taken Martha's (mriley123) suggestion and tried oatmeal and peanut butter together for breakfast. It was good enough that I will definitely do it again, but I'm pretty sure I didn't make it right because mine was kind of 'glue-ish'. Convinced I can do better, I'll keep trying.

Any more helpful hints hiding out there????

I like oatmeal and peanut butter but I have never tried them together. Sounds good, I'll have to give that a try! I often put cut-up apple and some cinnamon in my oatmeal, which is also yummy.

I don't know if this is really a tip, but I eat cooked oatmeal for breakfast every morning with 1 or 2 tablespoons of natural crunchy peanut butter stirred into it. I get protein and fiber, and it fills me up so well that I don't even think about food until lunchtime.

Oh - now I am getting excited! With each new Sparker comes a whole new way of looking at things, and I glean so much good motivation. Here we have Sparkarino - and when I checked her/your Spark Page, I saw that she/you have listed some great ideas, and further more she/you post a loss of 25 pounds. Hooray!! We now have a group of 7 or more 'villers' who are getting their act together and moving forward.

Oh, and today I decided that instead of be-moaning the fact that I don't like to drink water, I'll consider every drop that I drink as nourishment for my kidneys. So far, it is making what has been a chore into a privilege.

Do you have a tip you can/will share? We're on a roll, team mates!!

Yes -- I want to make 150-ville my home, so I'd like to help keep the team going. Right now I just squeek in at 159 but really my goal is to get down to low 150s and maintain there. However, at this point in my life I am only interested in getting there through lifestyle changes that I can stick with over the long haul. Spark has helped me lose 25lbs over the last few years through small steps, lots of water, more exercise such as walking, pickleball and yoga, and less junk food etc.. and that has been so great.

Now I would really like to continue my Spark Journey and find my way to low end of the 150s by, say -- July 4 --anyone interested in July 4 goals/weigh-in Challenge?

Let's find some ways to help each other reach our goals!

Hello 150-villers: Several of us on this team are anxious to be more involved - and so I ask the question: Are you one of us who wants to be more involved with this team? Did you join this team hoping to find 'soul-mates' who share your desire to have your scale reading get below 160? We're trying to push a 're-start button' for this team, but first need to know how many are in the same boat as us!

How about it - want to get involved, activate your motivation, learn new tips, find a listening ear, share some of the great tips that you've developed? This is the place for a town meeting - today is the day - now is the time. Want to be included in this 'renewal project"?

I hope you are all saying, "yes - I want to be included" - just respond here and we'll see what we come up with. Hope you'll join us!!

Do it, NOW!

Good for you getting solidly into town! I'm still not there -- I agree that 160-ville is not a desirable place to stay. If I can stay away from my own good cooking, I should make it this week.

Indiana didn't have a harsh winter, but it sure is hanging on a long time. This is the first weekend it has been warm outside and I'm so thankful! I have been jogging on the treadmill for months, but yesterday and today I tried a couple of miles outside. It was hard! There is a big difference between treadmill and real road!

I love Idaho -- used to live in Spokane and went hiking in the Idaho mountains all the time.

I hope I'm going to settle in and get comfortable with this little town of 150-ville for a while. For the past week or so, I've barely squeaked in after wandering in 160-ville for much longer than I ever wanted to be there. Because I am hoping to lose 1 pound per week, I know I'll be here a couple of months - so how about getting acquainted with each other?

My best eating plan is low-carb. My hardest challenge is drinking enough water to keep things hydrated. I live in Idaho where the winters are harsh and long - and it seems that Spring is never going to get here - so I use that as an excuse to wimp out on my best method of exercising which is walking.

My door is open - and I'd love to hear about you!

Easter dinner didn't help me achieve my goal of getting back into town this week. Maybe next week. Keep up the good work, you guys!

Hey, Linda - you've got to remember that "you've come a long way, baby" - 170 is half of what you used to weigh - and that is truly something to be proud of. Let's be neighbors in 150-ville!!
Best wishes!!

Martha...I am up and down the elevator, having a hard time deciding where to call home. Just barely hanging on to my place on the in skirts of 150-ville...as far as I can tell, there is plenty of room in town, so will look forward to seeing you here-soon!

I wonder whether or not I've stumbled into a ghost town? Maybe everybody is just on vacation?
