Hey Pam,

The sprain was from falling down my stairs, thankfully I was almost at the bottom of the steps, and I just fell down 3 bottom stairs. It could have been way worse.
My teacher suggests it on the ball. Another Nia teacher told me she did it on a "step", sitting on it. Pretty cool.

I'm SO sorry! I would for sure be in dance withdrawal! Did you do it in a NIA class??

I know that they do teach NIA to older people sitting in chairs, so I'm sure it could be done on an exercise ball. What does your teacher say??

So I sprained my ankle last week and have had to stay off the foot, needless to say I am in Dance withdrawal. I did hte last 10 mins of a Nia class yesterday, the floor work part, and it was great, but I miss sweating. Someone told me I could do the whole class on an exercise ball. Go figure. I will try it though, I am sorta desperate. Anyone else with this kind of experience?
