I did like Global Unity. However, I like going to class way better. We have an awesome teacher. She is headed to Portland for the black belt training. There is something therapeutic about class. When at home, I still have the world pushing in on me. : )

Nia DVDs to try....hmm.....I suggest Opal (along with Global Unity of course). Opal was my students' favorite routine and I stuck with it for 12 weeks. You could also purchase Sanjana (I've been working on that since I need to know it for Green Belt training). I heard Nia Unplugged was very good too. That one is done to live percussion and I heard you really work up a sweat. I'm waiting to be approved by Nia Headquarters as a Nia Affiliate. When I am, you could get a 40% discount on a variety of Nia stuff from the Nia store. I'll post when I get the approval and let everyone on the team know how to get the 40% off! :-)
BTW: What did you think of Global Unity? Have you tried it yet?

I just bought Global Unity so am anxious to try it this weekend. Just got my book on Nia (bought from B&N linked seller for less than I would have paid through the Nia site). I started to read it last night. It shows how to do all of the Nia moves in it. I like doing Duncan dance to anything.

I really enjoy "Global Unity", and that one is available for everyone to purchase. Great music and some really nice choreography too!

I quite like Sanjana. I work out in my living room with fairly limited space and I can do this one just fine. I have also bought Dance to Drums, but haven't actually tried it yet.

This past weekend I ended up doing a workout at home due to poor planning. I would much rather have been doing a Nia DVD instead of TaeBo, the only thing I actually own.

Can anyone recommend one or two in particular? I'd love to get something with some more tribal beats, definitely more high energy.

Thanks in advance!
