I am sorry I have been so caught up in my own life to pay attention to this. I think your friend who was siagnosed with cancer may be having trouble finding happiness himself...it's a tough illness to feal with. I have a close friend of the family who has recently had surgery due to the same issue. As dor your friend, it is not always a death sentence, but as for you, please find something in your own life that makes you happy. I don't know how close you are to this friend or how involved you are in this issue, but finding something to keep your happuiness alive is important regardless.

I believe happiness is not something that just happens to you. You choose to be happy. You choose to see the class half full, for the class could be completely empty.

For me, happiness is finding peace. I find peace through prayer and following the grace that God has given me. I know that whatever someone else does, they can't take away my faith. :)

This weekend, I had a friend diagnosed with cancer. We've shared a few e-mails over the weekend, and with the end of each e-mail, he leaves me with lines like, "I hope you're living today like you're not going to see tomorrow". In his last e-mail to me, he left me with the line, "Please live happy".

That left me to wondering, what does living happy really entail? We all know what it feels like to be happy, but I feel like the words "to be" and "to live" are completely different. So, I have set out on a project, and my question to everyone is:

What does it mean to you to "live happy"? I have my own definition, but I would love to hear all of yours... happy Sunday!
