This has been a difficult year for me since my husband who had dementia has needed more and more caregiving. And, Curves (ladies gym) near me went out of business last summer. However, I started going back to the regular gym three times a week (I had dropped down to two when Curves was open), and I had a review with my personal trainer -- updated me on some of my exercises. Then, I joined a "Strong Bones" workout class last June, and I have stuck with that one day a week. In fact, I am now the leader of the group. My husband is no longer able to walk very much/long, but I have found that walking by myself is in a way better -- I can go faster, vary my pace, etc. I also found that when he is exercising on a machine recommended in physical therapy, I can walk in place next to him. This helps me get my 10,000 steps a day.

My goal for 2016 is to continue my efforts to stay healthy -- eat well and exercise. emoticon
