I joined this site in 2007 struggling to get back to a weight I wanted to maintain. I ended up gaining more and it was not until 2010 that I started going down again.

I lost weight in the late 90's and then a bunch of changes happened and I found it again over the course of ten years. Now, I'm stuck at 10 from goal. I've readjusted my goal weight.

I struggle with emotional eating. I am working on that and I am making slow progress, but it is progress.

This year I am up from where I ended last year. That bums me out some. I will keep pushing though.

One thought I have in my mind is that I don't want weight loss to be the dominant theme in my life. I want to eat right with my body. That is my dream even more than the scale weight goal.

Well, it is complicated. I didn't have much extra weight (thank goodness), and after four or five months of recording all my food, I was down to a weight that was fine with me. However, I continued to keep track of my exercise. Not sure that I always kept up with exercise and tracking exercise, but the past few years, I have been very good.

Diet is a life habit with ups and downs. How long have you been Sparking? I have been here since 2007. I left for a while, but missed the support and of course put about 8 pounds back on. So I Spark and I plan to Spark until I die......How about you?
