@adlins that sounds like a good tactic.

I work out at home which makes it a little easier when the work day stretches a bit. I find even it's later than I usually workout, if I still do it, I feel better. Trying to get where I can do right when I get home, but sometimes it's nice to sit for a few minutes and transition from work me to home me.

There are days, though, when I'm just a zombie by the time I get home. I might do a short yoga workout or if I know I've got absolutely no focus left, I just skip the workout.

For the last week, I've been feeling overwhelmed at work, and silly me, I've been avoiding my gym workouts and meal logs. Yesterday I walked 10 minutes. That's my new minimum per day. I'll do at least 10 min. when it seems like I have no time to spare. As for the logs, that takes a long time. I'm not sure if I'll be doing those today.

How is 2012 going? I've already come up against some challenges to my fitness agenda. I didn't workout or manage my eating very well this weekend. A bunch of work came up, and I tended to that, but I also fretted over doing the work. I'm sure I could have done things better if it weren't for the anxious time I spent trying to figure out which way to go.

What do you do when your fitness goals seem eclipsed by other responsibilities?
