It's getting exciting! Only two more hectic weeks to the year. Usually we take a break from work and get to spend more time at home or with family or friends. However, that doesn't mean, we need to take a break from our fitness goals. In fact, it's a great time to get a jump start on those 'new year resolutions'; why wait to the new year to treat ourselves great?

I've been rearranging my workout schedule a bit. After nearly three months of focusing on the pool, I've gotten back to the gym. I start off slow on the cardio machines before I up the speed or resistance. I know some people stretch after the warm up, but it always feels like an interruption on my workout. I stretch afterwards.

How about you? Do you stretch before your cardio workout? After? Both? Maybe I'm missing a breakthrough by not stretching before hand. Has stretching made a difference in you fitness goals? How?
