Last day of November, all ready. Hope you had a great month, if not there is always the next month. Now, it's time to get in gear for all of the holiday eating that comes with December. Continued below, the list of tips for dealing with this month's potential hazards.

3) Make an effort to pay close attention to your body's signals. It is easy to get distracted from signals of physical hunger and satiety when your catching up with your loved ones...especially if food is the main event.

4) Pace your eating prior to the event so you will be hungry, but not famished at meal time. Do ignore the old advice to "eat before going to a party so you won't be tempted." That's crazy talk. You want to be hungry enough to enjoy your favorites.
