A return to SparkPeople. I needed to get off of FB and Instagram as it wasn't making me feel good about myself. I am not sure how the SparkPeople community does it, but I love it. I check FB and Instagram just once a day now, not when ever I find myself alone. I was also on My Fitness Pal- it was pretty lonely there and it does not have all of the resources of Spark People. I only went there because some people I worked with loved it. Never should have left this space!

I have been on and off SP and up and down (weight wise,unfortunately) over the last 5 years. It is good to feel like I'm back in control again... most days. Hope you all are doing well :)

Three days until vacation. I have three days to lose that last pound again. One day blew it for me. Oh well. I plan to enjoy all kinds of food while we are away, and then it's back to business.

Okay, so there may be three of us still on here. I am thinking we could use a goal of some sort. I am up for a challenge. I noticed since I have been back that we can track our sit ups, push ups and that there is a stair challenge in the same place that we track our weight. I look at the blank spaces here numbers should go. I am going to take a look at the tracking method again and will let you know when I am ready to commit to putting some numbers in there and not just once. I thinks it's weekly or monthly. I will touch base in a day or two with this challenge.

Eeek! A meal at a buffet. I may have only gone over 200 calories, but I don't know for sure. Guess I will know tomorrow.

I love SparkPeople. It really helps me to stay on track. I took a long break, things look much the same, but there are way more foods listed in the search feature. I love that. Makes entering the food I eat super quick. I also loved that favorites were still intact.

C25k - accomplished (I'm running consistently on my own!)

I'm back again. I find that when I work too many hours (40+), and bring my work home (always), I focus too much on work and not me and my health. Fortunately, my job ends for a while in a few weeks and I can re-focus my attention on reclaiming a healthier lifestyle.

Hi to all. I'm glad to see there are so many who have continued to spark on to a healthier you.

emoticon I am glad to see there are still some others here from my 'beginning days' at Sparkpeople.com This site has been a blessing to me, a means to remain connected across the miles with so many working together for that common goal of being as healthy we can possibly all be. So exciting reading each others posts and knowing how far some have come, real inspiration here on this site!

CHELSADILLA That is great that you were able to lose so much. It is so hard to stay motivated. That is why I like this website so much - there are so many different teams to get involved in.
I joined the bootcamp too! My favorite workout video so far is the abs. My tummy is still sore. Good luck!!

I fell off the wagon as far as exercise/strength training and decided to log on again and try to get into a routine. I then found the New YOU Bootcamp sparkteam and joined. It's already helping me to find the time to get the exercise/strength training minutes in.

I'm still around...I lost 45 pounds in the first 7 or 8 months that I was a member of SP, but I fell off the wagon last fall and haven't been able to lose the last 20-25 pounds I'd like. The good news is I haven't regained it!

I still log in to SP every once in awhile, but I've had a hard time getting back into the routine I had when I was losing weight - I don't understand how I had the time then!!

I'm still around.I leave for a while, then return to make sure I don't slip too much. I'm horrible about maintaining an exercise/strength training routine even though I know it's important. Good luck in reaching your goals.

I am back and recommitted to sparks. I never really left for long - which is why my weight has ballooned up as much as it would have been BUT i haven't lost much. So I am going to really work on healthy eating and working out. I hope to be in much better shape by my 2 year anniversary!!
